I've not yet had a contact form actually send an email. I get the success message, but no email, not even in spam/junk. I'm not messing with settings, and the admin email is my email, so it should work.

I've tried WPforms a couple of times, Forminator, and now Contact Form 7. This is really frustrating me, because when I made my own sites, my forms always worked. Has anyone else here had this kind of struggle with wordpress contact forms?

I'm currently studying and using wordpress I enjoyed creating a website using. I want to have a job related to it what are the essential things I need to learn in Wordpress in order for me to land a job.

I have setup a newsletter with MailPoet and have it send a new post notification via email, but I'm also thinking if I should add push notifications with OneSignal, not sure if this would ruin the experience of my blog, making it look spammy, because it seems like a spammy blog that filled with tons of paid post paid ads send 10 20s push notification a day if you accidentally click the allow notification button.

Should I add push notifications for my blog or just stick with the newsletter alone?

Hi guys! I am trying to figure out how to make a multilingual wordpress site. Previously I used translationPress to translate posts or pages. But I also want to translate other elements of the site like header, footer, menus, other static elements,... I want to have a drop down menu for visitor to select a language. I have read the developer handbook on wordpress and it seems multisite configuration would be best. How you to handle multilingual sites with that or similar requirements?

Any ideas how to remove this?

I am trying to use WP as headless cms and render the content using Astro.

I am able to take the json: https://.../wp-json/wp/v2/pages/9 and render the html (content.rendered).

This html includes classes like ex:

Since i want to render those classes with the propper Gutenberg styling, in my project i import:

But, when this html is rendered, the flexbox arrangement is totally missing. For example, the class: is-layout-flex is not working. Does not have display flex applied and the whole post structure looks broken.

API return the HTML as you see it above. BUT wordpress/block-library package referrence this class is-layout-flex NOT in any of common.css, styles.css or theme.css (as it is described in the github docs), but in editor.css and ./group/editor.

And this is not the only problem.

When i include all the css files, where is-layout-flex is found, i still get broken layout structure, because in all of this css files, this class is referenced only in combination with other classes ex:

./editor.css:.wp-block-group.is-layout-flex.block-editor-block-list__block > .block-list-appender:only-child {

Why API does not include those classes in the content.rendered property?

And how can i use Gutenberg styles externally with headless WP?

So I've been adding their IP Address inside the discussions box of wordpress. But they somehow end up sending a new email with a different IP Address. I have no clue how to stop this?

I want to move my website built in Divi Editor to Gutenberg pages as I experience a slow loading speed of the website as compared to the Gutenberg page I created for A/B testing.

Question for the Astra/Spectra experts here. I realize Spectra uses slick slider for its post carousel, but we're wanting to use the "centerMode" option in Slick Slider.

Any ideas on the best way to use a filter in a child theme to enable centerMode?

I see there's a filter called "uagb_slider_options" but looking for the best way to put this into a child theme.

I can see where the code is being set: /plugins/spectra-pro/blocks-config/fremium-blocks/slider/block.php:98

The code setting the mode is in the extend_slider_options function and it's using a filter.

I obviously don't want to mess with the plugin directly.

So I have theplugin WPdatatables pro

It allows users to login and enter data directly to a customized table on the front end(only they see their own data, the other users do not) and allows the site administrator to see the data from all the users simultaneously.

The problem is, you cannot duplicate more than one record at a time and i have the need to duplicate the same data each month with just a change of date.

The plugin does not allow this, so i thought of a form that allows you to enter data from an excel sheet that automatically adds the data to the users data tables that will display with their other data.

Is there a plugin that can easily do this, or would it be custom work?

Whenever i try to acess my website on my phone it says "safari couldnt establish a secure connection to the server" and i dont understand why bc hours ago it was working fine.

To give some context im using hostingers business plan hosting and i just applied astra theme today and started editing my website and this just happened at 5am i woke up and tried to checkout my website and to my surprise this is happening.

Can someone explain whats happening?

And if its a problem occuring bc of hostinger can anyone suggest any other alternatives for a small saas business like webflow or framer? Bc i genuinely dont wanna deal w my website crashing or whatever is happening when i literally just bought my hosting plan not even a month ago.

I registered a domain on Alibaba and am trying to set up a WordPress site on it. They have a one click deployment that creates a WordPress site for you. I used that, but I’m having problems with the site because when I try to access it I get an error that my browser cannot connect to the site. This error only happened after I changed the URL in the WordPress settings.

Originally, when I got access to the WordPress site, in the WordPress settings, the site URL listed was the IP address for the simple application server that has the WordPress site on it. The DNS records were an A record pointing to the IP address. With those settings, everything was working fine.

However, in the WordPress site, in the WordPress settings, I updated the site URL to be the normal URL (www.example.com) instead of the IP address that was originally listed there. After I did that I can no longer access the site.

My best guess is that this is related to the DNS settings because the DNS settings are still resolving to the IP address, but the WordPress site is at the URL address (www.example.com). I’ve tried lots of different DNS settings but nothing seems to work. Does anyone have any suggestions about how to fix this problem? I have access to the DNS settings and other things at the hosting provider, but I cannot access the WordPress site to make any changes in the WordPress settings .

Is there a THEME that allows one to post QUICK and EASY blog posts without so much back and fort mumbojambo nonsense crap?! I tried using Divi, but nope, when I hit New, I must first enter the Divi builder, then add a box, then it adds a picture by default and THEN I can begin writing a text.

Is there a more easier and practical theme where you can just hit new post and simply start writing straight away and add a photo if needed without the need of too many "clicks"?! Divi was supposed to be "easy", but nope, it wants to be and do TOO much...

Search engines always try to reach attachments. But I want to stop that. how can I do it? the attachments no longer exist.

I want every time www. example com/category/post/attachment/12345 is entered to www. example com/category/post/ is redirected

I have a website on the Blocksy theme and there's a column with two inner columns.

The bottom inner column has a 'image carousel' by 'stackable'. However, in the mobile version of the website I move this inner column to the top so the image carousel is displayed on the very top of the page. But for some reason the images disappear when I do this. It works fine when the image carousel is on the bottom.

I'm at a loss here, any help is greatly appreciated.

Hi, I'm working on my first website, and this error table occurred. Does anyone know how to fix this? I've seen some guys on StackOverflow dealing with an 'Undefined array key' error in PHP and using this piece of code:

if (isset($lookup_table[$key])) {
     return $lookup_table[$key];
} 

else {
     return;
}

But since I'm really new to this, I'm not sure where I should put it.

My website is created 100% in English, and I just had a client telling me that my website is full of mistakes in Spanish...

Well, dude, I never translated it to Spanish...

What he saw was the automatic translation from Google Chrome, and as a nontech-savvy user, he is unaware of that...

He just felt my website was 100% wrong and gave my company a terrible image.

Is there any way to force Chrome or any other browser to NOT translate the website?
