I came to Germany for my master's (in entrepreneurshop) about two years ago. My wife followed suit after a year. My goal was to explore Europe with my spouse and leave. But my spouse finds it more comfortable to live here than back in our home country India.

The reason I'm depressed is that I don't have a job and I'm currently learning to code at the age of 32 (front end Web dev). And we're burning through our savings living in Berlin.

I actually don't need to do all of this from here. We would actually be better off living in India, studying and then applying for jobs from there. (I have a 1.5 year job seekers visa atm)

Another reason why I'm depressed is that I already make close to 2k USD online through my courses and YouTube.

We could have a lavish life with this income in India. But my wife (who is an expat herself and lived in Kuwait all her life), apparently finds it claustrophobic to live with my parents and she feels pressure and in general doesn't like living in india.

I mean I understand why if we live in a tier 2 city but we live in Bangalore which is very progressive and very entrepreneuial city which is perfect for me (plus my parents are well settled there).

She is not supportive and she wants to now pursue her master's here which is another 2 years.

I don't know what to do.

I want to go back but my wife wants to stay. And I have stopped arguing with her.

I miss all my friends, relatives, and the relaxed life I had back home in Bangalore.

If someone could share your experience

... I don't know.. maybe one day, I'll just fudge it and leave on my own.

It's been 3 years since I stopped recording episodes but my website is still a podcast website.
Now I want to redesign the website to make it a aggregator of a specific industry that I work in.
It will be similar to https://www.classcentral.com/ but for my industry.

Essentially we will create mostly blogs and also eventually a daily newsletter. (revenue model would be affiliate income)

My question is how do I redesign the website without affecting SEO.

We rank for a lot of keywords and we get about 50k visits per month.

I want to redesign the website without affecting this.

Also, I primarily use elementor for the design of the site but now that I've learned html, css, javascript and some other frameworks. I want to incorporate some CSS to the website and javascript too.

I assume that I am supposed to stage the new design and stop posting new content when the website is undergoing a revamp. But how do I do it in a structured way without affecting the security and SEO..

So I've been adding their IP Address inside the discussions box of wordpress. But they somehow end up sending a new email with a different IP Address. I have no clue how to stop this?

So I worked full time last year for a period of 3 months and my brutto was 3k Euros. And I got about 2200 netto.
So I'm assuming my employer already collected the tax amount from my salary.
I've been jobless since December and no income.

But my wife works full-time now for brutto 2000 Euros.

Now both of us are noobs and we have no idea how to file our taxes? Ideally we want to get it done through a tax consultant but we don't know how much they cost. Plus, we're kinda broke and only making ends meet month-to-month.

Any tips on where we need to start, how, and by when we need to file taxes would be super helpful? Plus, assessing our situation, is it necessary for us to file taxes?

So I'm working on a note taking app myself using chatgpt and copilot.

I know I know, that there are plenty of productivitynote taking apps already. But this one is a bit different and I want to test the waters.

Plus, if nothing else, I'll use it in my portfolio to findjobs.

1. Is the MERN stack sufficient to build an app like this?

2. Where should I do my hosting? I was thinking vercel or netlify?

3. I already registered all the social media handles, etc. Should I start posting content right awaywait for the MVP?

4. I'm building myself so when would be a good time to pivot to build a team?

5. I want to bootstrap this business. Can this be done or is it better to get investments once the app scales?

6. If I keep it indie and build a small team, can I still run the business? I don't plan to setup a office but work remotely instead.

8. I already registered the domain name. What elsedo I need to do? Should I register the trademark as well?

9. Should I work simultaneously on the Android and iOS apps or can that be done later?
