This is what I did and I just had my host delete and give me a fresh install. I was like a kid in a candy shop with the plugins, and at least one of them broke my site along the way (in my case i was downloading a bunch of membership plugins). This could be a hosting issue as we never quite nailed down the root of the problem, but I’ll definitely be more discerning about plugins and make sure it is what I think it is before installing.
Definitely refamiliarized myself with WP in the process though!
We sometimes do some basic training for our clients, and usually use the WPBeginner, WordPress. org and some other free tutorial materials, depending on what the clients plan to do on the site. I hope this could help you as well...
