You have listed in these 2 SG articles all the possible reasons and I would repeat the same as others - do some detailed tests & get some highly experienced developer who understands this topic in depth:

The most recent page builder I've used has been Cornerstone, part of the X/Pro theme by Theme.co, which is pretty extensive but has been difficult for clients to work with and is not the greatest when it comes to performance.

We used to use Cornerstone as well, but the majority of our clients found it (very) hard to use it, and they often asked us to update site content. When we switched to Elementor and afterward WPBakery (as per our Croatian clients' requests), they became more independent in updating content without needing our help as often.

That's what we do every time before updating all the sites (via 3 different backup systems, some with automatic backups, some manual). As we maintain more than 50 sites, we use an additional tool (MainWP) to reduce the update process time.

+1, we usually use it on our clients' sites when they decide to "freeze" their sites, but we use WP All Import/Export plugin when we need only website's content (and transfer it elsewhere).

"To be eligible for a domain transfer, you must have been with your current registrar for at least 60 days, since ICANN enforces a 60-day Change of Registrant lock. You may want to initiate a domain transfer for a number of reasons."

I haven't been using TOTAL theme so far, I only bookmarked it in the past, as I read people say very positive things about it, and it had (and I see still has) a total high review score. I would like to be able to tell it something about it from my own experience, but I have it only with WPBakery (which we use as part of some other themes).

Have been using WP backup plugins since 2011. when I started working in WP, and I learned all about them - that is the most important type of plugin for me, along with the security once - I burnt before, so I learned my lesson the hard way. 😉

Use backup plugins that automatically migrate all needed files + your content, you can try whatever plugin suits you the best: Duplicator, UpdraftPlus, WPVivid... or All in one WP migration plugin that I have been suing since 2014 (as it suits me the best all these years).

WP backup plugins like UpdraftPlus (and others like All-in-One WP Migration that I use, WPVivid, etc.) are designed to run while the site is live to minimize downtime and maintain user access. These plugins use techniques such as database locking (and incremental backups) to ensure data integrity. Namely, during the backup, these plugins temporarily lock tables to prevent conflicting changes, ensuring a consistent snapshot, and often they back up data in chunks, reducing the load on the server and allowing the site to remain responsive.

And if a user makes a change, the plugin typically captures this in the next backup cycle or handles it seamlessly without data loss.

Maintenance mode is not necessary, but if you want to have it - you can do it manually by using a separate plugin, if you prefer no changes during backups.

When you add a meta description using the Yoast plugin, it should appear immediately in the source code of your blog post. If it's not showing up try 1st to clear cache on your website (WordPress, Broswer, DNS, hosting cache....) to ensure you're seeing the most recent version of your page.

Deactivate and Reactivate Yoast SEO as, sometimes, deactivating and reactivating the Yoast SEO plugin can resolve any temporary glitches or conflicts (like we restart our other devices such as mobile, PC, TV, router... and then they start working ok :-) ).

Also troubleshoot your site to see if there are any conflicts with other plugins that might be overriding Yoast settings: https://wpshout.com/troubleshooting-wordpress/

If the meta description still doesn't appear, try updating and re-saving the post. It should not take any time to show in the source code once saved correctly.

I have been using Clicky.com for a long time now, and I really like it, along with our clients (we share their statistics via link).

Each of us has our own set of favorite tools that suit us best (you can find my agency's toolbox/WP included, listed here ), but it's important to discover which tools work best for you. Avoid blindly following others' recommendations; instead, experiment with different tools to determine your own preferences.

We all have our preferred tools that work best for us (my agency's stack is listed here ), but you must find out which tools work the best for you. Don't listen blindly to others; test tools and see what you prefer the most.

Hi, I compiled these free resources from various sources. As far as I know, they are up-to-date. You can take a look here .

I do it also in this way, if I find any space issues with our All in one WP migration plugin, but in that case we use BlogVault, the "older brother" (paid version) of free MigrateGuru plugin.

We primarily use All in one WP Migration plugin on majority of sites, but on the biggest ones (or "problematic" ones), we do use BlogVault SaaS, which saves backups directly on their servers. As they are not so cheap, maybe you could try their free backup/migration plugin, this one: https://wordpress.org/plugins/migrate-guru/, so you could backup it to another hosting, and then backup & download it on your computer? I know, a few additional steps, but maybe you could do it this way... or directly via BlogVault, that would work for sure.

...and I did it more than once when it was really too much of everything to continue with those clients, and they wouldn't listen to anything, just pushing their agenda no matter what...

Try the following steps (in this order):

Ensure you are using the latest versions of Elementor and Elementor Pro.

Open the Elementor editor for your header and footer templates, and check that all elements are set to "Visible" for mobile devices under the "Responsive" tab.

Classical step - clear your browser cache and any caching plugins.

Also, temporarily switch to a default theme (like Twenty Twenty-Four) to check for theme conflicts. If the issue resolves, it may be a conflict with your current theme's mobile styles.

A bit of advanced step, depending on the level of your knowledge - inspect elements using browser developer tools to identify any conflicting CSS.

Also, you can temporarily deactivate other plugins to see if a specific plugin is causing the issue.

If none of these steps resolve the issue, consider contacting Elementor support or your theme developer for further assistance.

PS Before making any changes to your website, like deactivating or adding new plugins, updating current plugins/themes, testing code snippets, etc., it's a good idea to back up your site just in case. You can learn more about different WordPress backup plugins here: https://themeisle.com/blog/wordpress-backup-plugins-compared/ (I suggest using the All in One WP Migration plugin, but there are other options las well)

A 404 error when saving with the WPBakery backend editor can be caused by several issues, so maybe you can try the following actions for troubleshooting - in the following order:

Ensure WPBakery is updated to the latest version. Sometimes, bugs in older versions can cause such issues.

Go to Settings > Permalinks in your WordPress dashboard and click "Save Changes" to refresh the permalink structure (twice!).

Increase the PHP memory limit, editing your wp-config.php file and add or update (it usually fixes strange problems with page builders we use, WPBakery and Elementor):

define('WP_MEMORY_LIMIT', '512M');

Deactivate all plugins except WPBakery and see if the issue persists. If it resolves, reactivate them one by one to identify the conflicting plugin(s).

Temporarily switch to a default theme (like Twenty Twenty-One) to see if the issue is theme-related.

Check your server’s error logs for any related errors. Sometimes, server settings or mod_security rules can cause 404 errors on save.

The last resort - reinstall WPBakery: deactivate and delete the plugin, then reinstall it from a fresh download.

PS Before making any changes to your site, including deactivating/installing the new plugins, updating existing plugins/theme, testing snippets/code, ... you should first backup your site to be on the safe side: https://themeisle.com/blog/wordpress-backup-plugins-compared/ (I use All in one WP migration plugin, but you have also Duplicator, UpdraftPlus, etc.)

I also use MainWP, and I bought its lifetime deal once and that's it - clients paid off that cost through maintenance fees a long time ago, now I have only income from using MainWP, no more costs :-)

You can duplicate the site using your All in One plugin. Then you can delete all data either through phpMyAdmin in cPanel or using a plugin like WP Data Access (https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-data-access/). In the plugin, go to the "Data Explorer" section, find the database tables you want to clear (e.g., posts, comments, orders), select them, and choose "Truncate" to remove all the data from those tables.

PS Backup your site before doing anything.

The hashed version of a password cannot be reversed to get the original password because hashing is a one-way function. However, you can reset/create a new password in phpMyAdmin: https://www.wpbeginner.com/beginners-guide/how-to-reset-a-wordpress-password-from-phpmyadmin/

We use three different backup solutions, and one of them is the All-in-One WP Migration plugin with pCloud 2.5 TB. We haven't had any issues with that combination so far, in any way.
