What is your comfort youtube channel?
man, the disney channel theme documentary was one of the best videos/documentaries i’ve ever watched. cant believe how enjoyable that was.
"But to demonstrate how broken the theme park waiting lines system actually is, we would need to run a simulation, and who has time for that?" Next segment is said simulation
That fast pass video with simulation was basically an industrial engineering research project. Very impressive and well done.
The Fastpass episode is fascinating. I show it to everyone that will listen. Shout-out to the guy who rode the octagon 37 times.
Tasting history with Max miller
Turns out food is an excellent gateway to learning about the past
That and fashion history! I feel like it really gives a unique insight to humans. What we eat and what we wear really encompass our lives.
I watch Townsend for that too.
I wanna stock up on hard tack because of him.
Clack-clack
I like that I can not only hear this perfectly, but I can see Max's face as he is smacking that hard tack together.
A lot of his topics he is overly sentimental about but in several videos he takes a hard tack
Steve1989MREInfo
Always a comfort to hear him say
"Alright let's get this out on tray."
food switches from laying on the table to now laying on a mess hall tray
"Nice!"
“I wonder how far I’m gonna have to scroll to see Steve1989MREInfo”
Opens thread
“Nice.”
He said in one of his videos that he carries around a small MRE so if someone recognizes him he can have a quick meal with them. Dude is legit :)
I love SteveMRE1989. It’s funny how many people—me included—seem to have discovered him randomly over the years.
He comes off very genuine and likeable, and has a soothing voice.
Just a fun, wholesome channel.
ETA: I also wanted to mention that I love his original music. It belongs on a sci-fi show. Great experimental sounds.
Nobody's ever made me want to smoke like this dude. "Mmmm, nice. Very smooth. Yeah. Not harsh at all. This is a good satisfying smoke. Mmmm."
“Nice hiss”
One of my favorite things I've ever heard him say was referring to an MRE as "tactical gas station food.""
That's been my discord name for a while now.
Yess, used to fall asleep to his videos. Gotta appreciate a man willing to eat 100-year-old beef just for the experience and our entertainment.
Camping With Steve
Dude is tough beyond belief.
Losing three loved ones in about a year, yet still socializing and even keeps entertaining his fans. Hope the dude catches a break and life makes things easier for him.
RIP to Steve’s beautiful wife and Crazy Neighbor. Steve is a treasure.
He’s had it unbelievably tough but he still keeps his positivity, he’s one of the most human tubers out there and the community love him for it
Joe Robinet was in a coma for a few weeks recently (it's the most recent video on his channel) and the top comment on that channel is Steve Wallis saying that he's glad Joe is still around... Really warmed my heart to see that. Steve is such a wholesome guy. Rest in Peace, Beautiful Wife and Crazy Neighbor.
I started watching him just before his wife passed but had assumed when he mentioned her thar it was some in-joke that she didn't exist because she'd never be on camera. It was like a week later that he did that incredibly sad video explaining how he woke up one morning but his wife didn't. And I learned she was real, just never wanted to be on cam.
It's great to see him carrying on such a great channel. RIP to Beautiful Wife and Crazy Neighbor
I had just traveled cross country. Driven like 2900 miles by myself. Camping most of the way. Finally got a hotel, a shower and some WiFi so I settled in to watch his latest episode.
It was the one you referred to. It hit me like a ton of bricks. I’ve never met any of the people involved but it felt so horrible. I love how positive he remains.
Time for a refreshing step 2!
Steve is the modern day Bob Ross.

“This’ll do just fine, almost time to Hunker Down”
This is one of those threads that has a correct answer. This is the correct answer. Bout to go hunker down with a step 2 and watch some episodes with Crazy Neighbour.
Most chill down to earth guy ever.
Ethoslab
Taskmaster! The whole thing is on YouTube, and new episodes are uploaded just a couple days after they air!
Sam O Nella
Nile Red
I like how dry his videos are, makes it that much funnier when something really stupid happens. Like that time he tried to make benzaldehyde and accidentally made a tear gas in his first attempt, all while narrating in the same tone as the rest of the video.
Alternatively, Nile Blue is amazing for when you want to see an expert chemist doing the weirdest shit ever while being very calm about it at all times.
Atomic Shrimp. I don't know what it is, it started with the scam stuff, but now it's just everything. Easy, long videos, that I can put on, and if I'm actually paying attention I'll probably chuckle a bit.
Also, Drew Gooden, I've watched most of his video 3-4 times. Though, I have a harder time now because I associate him with my late brother. (Thanks bro, really appreciate it)
Really surprised Atomic Shrimp didn't get a mention earlier!
LGR
I forgot to add LGR to my comment. Such a soothing voice to fall asleep to, video topics are too interesting to sleep to.

Drawfee. I can always count on them for fun ideas, funny jokes, and both wholesome and un-wholesome conversations.
SB Mowing. Something comforting about watching yardworking get done.
SB mowing! I hope he eventually collabs with SB powerwashing....
SB Mowing is great!!
Baumgartner Restoration
I started watching his stuff back in like 2018.
A few years later I had a FWB thing with a girl. We still dated around while we had our thing.
One day she says she went on a date with this guy who does art restoration. I asked his name, she said Julian. I was like, BAUMGARTNER?? And she was like, you know him?
It was surreal. I think they're still together.
Jenny Nicholson! Hilarious sense of humor and a very calming presence.
I can't believe I listened to her talk about a Star Wars Disney Park attraction for 4 hours! I don't care about Star Wars at all, I really thought I'd get bored pretty fast. 4 hours went by like nothing! How does she do that?!
And she wasn’t gleefully ripping into the hotel, you could tell she had genuinely wanted to have a good time, tried her hardest to, and was disappointed at what a shitshow it was.
I can’t believe I’ve watched it more than once…
She is the greatest yapper of all time. She can talk about literally anything and make it interesting.
Agreed- nice long videos, hilarious, no drastic changes in volume, amazing
Food Wishes. I just love Chef John.
My mechanics the way he lovingly and intricately restores everything

Especially the april fools episodes of his tiny Coq and his wife's Beaver
Watch It again to make sure It was not a fluke
Smarter Every Day. Destin is contagiously upbeat, seems to be very passionate about everything he approaches and does an excellent job of explaining whatever the subject matter is. His giddiness about some of the same things I would get excited about is a nice mood boost when I need it sometimes. His appreciation for the workers that make things happen is nice to see too. The guys a legit rocket scientist, but relates to mechanics, farmers, machinists, and a whole bunch of other tradesmen as equals, not in a demeaning way that some presenters can do sometimes.
Love me some Smart Every Day. I’ve gone on vacations to certain places because of his video. My wife and I were around Huntsville Alabama once and I made us take a detour to go to the space museum from one of his moon videos.
Also when we flew out of Detroit I made her walk around the terminal to find the fountain from his laminar flow video. He’s made life more enjoyable in more ways than one!
I LOVE Smarter Every Day.
I completely get and appreciate why he only posts videos every couple weeks, and it proves the quality over quantity saying. But boy I can not get enough of his content.
Are you a member of his patreon? I've never subscribed to patreon but I'm thinking about doing it for his channel.
One of mine is Kitboga. He is a scambaiter and the things he gets them to do are hilarious.
Do not redeem! Are you mad?!
a great example of chaotic good
Lemmino
Primitive technology. The Aussie? one. He doesn't pretend to live there full time, he does most things from scratch. There's no talking, CC is on point.
Most importantly, there are no heavy equipment tracks or people working in the background like there are in all of the imitator channels.
Can't wait until he forges a decent axe, he's so close!
Yeah all he has is that little triangular knife/scraper. He needs a better source of iron. That stream bacteria doesn't yield enough. Maybe a nickel-iron meteorite will strike nearby!
No talking, no cringe intro, no 'like comment subscribe', no flashy editing, no sound effects, no viral thumbnails, no giveaways, no drama, no sob stories, no clickbait, no sponsors, no fakery
scrolled too long to find this!

RTGame, I know he's a twitch streamer but I prefer watching his videos on YouTube.
I love RTGame! I use his stream archive channel to go to sleep to every night. Even when he’s excited and “yelling” he’s generally so chill and even-keeled it’s perfectly restful
Outdoor Boys
He’s just a wholesome dude doing what he loves. Much respect to him.

Post 10. I love nature and found him from the beavers. But then it turns out culverts are actually interesting
SortedFood and Steve Wallis
Emmymade. She's kind, has a soothing voice and cooks and reviews cool food.
Technology Connections. Who knew a three part series on hurricane lamps could be so good lol and on old school pinball machines for that matter. Or a 90 minute rant about the inner workings of a silly little red fridge
Steve1989. Just a humble dude without health insurance that eats/reviews military rations. Sometimes eating some from WWI. Actually really fascinating to see how food preservation has evolved over the decades!
Oldest one he ate was Civil War hardtack. Worst one he ate was a 2019 PLA field ration pack. It always amazes me how he routinely eats food that was made before he was born and yet the thing that gave him food poisoning was a modern ration that wasn't even out of date yet.

Started watching her when my wife and I were planning a Vegas trip. She does awesome videos but for some reason her nearly identical thumbnails for almost every video irritate me.
She and her husband are just fun to watch even when the topic is stupid.

Very calm voice and soundtrack. This dude makes the most in depth videos about speed running and explains them in a way that even the most casual can understand and appreciate. His videos get quite long and have the quality of proper documentaries.
