I can't wrap my head around Carly discussing how buying Paw Patrol sheets is "compromising" with her vision for her son's room. Did she think her kids were going to grow up caring about ~aesthetics~ and not normal toddler/kid things? Just rubs me the wrong way.

Smart move for Grace (The Stripe) to have her assistant/collaborator engage in the FB group by asking for requests for blog content topics. I love how everyone is like “please give us clothing & jewelry suggestions that are in between Amazon and high end” but in a very nice way
I was surprised to see the assistant thank everyone for the comments then say PLEASE be kind with requests , everyone seemed very kind in the suggestions I saw ?
I don’t know, this comment in particularly seemed snarky/pointed.
oh like the idea of carry on travel attire and mid-level fashion that bridges the gap between amazon and $900 pants.
ETA: looks like multiple people were referencing the $900, which I agree is a ridiculous price point, but I’m assuming that’s what lead to the please be nice comment.

Yea partly that could be it, and I think the trend (of mentioning/pushing them) has just run its course. There’s only so much hype that can be generated $900 pants that (IMO) aren’t really unique or from a more mainstream luxury brand.

Grace officially turned off anon posting in the Stripe FB Group. She says the group has already improved. Will this mean the end of anon posts asking for sock recommendations or help finding someone’s husband a job?? Some people were really upset about the decision lol
I’m shocked the #1 defender of anonymous posting isn’t commenting that the group needs it.
Her asking for people to stop DMing her asking to turn it back on and then all the comments being like “but I needed to ask about my medical condition and I thought of this group!” Like you’re not the exception, she said she wasn’t changing it back.
What about the people who haven’t told anyone that they’re pregnant yet but want to know where to book a luxury babymoon? Won’t Grace think of them?!
Carly’s colors consultation was $350?! Is she blind? How can you have that much trouble figuring out what colors look good on you?
I was SHOCKED when I saw how much they cost. I thought it looked fun for a bachelorette weekend and thought it would be around $50 a person maybe
Same here! I wanted to get it done and I couldn't believe how much it was. $350 sounds cheap next to some of what I saw! I did eventually get it done by a friend of a friend for $40, but it wasn't very in-depth.
I didn't realize that the color consult was $350! I think it would be kind of a fun think to do, but I'm rather surprised it costs that much!
Right?? I’m also in NJ so I thought it would be fun but for that price I’ll just stick with what I’m doing haha. I was shocked it was that much! I’m also not an influencer by any stretch of the imagination so I’ll survive wearing my current colors.
The silver lining maybe now that she’s been told by a professional, she’ll dress in colors other than oatmeal and navy now (though it looks like she’s going now all in on red…).

What’s crazy is that her job is to literally sell us stuff. How can you sell dresses and outfits when you can’t even dress yourself? She always wears the same stained sweatshirt and leggings with no socks. Also LOL at the beer in stories today. She is trolling.
Is there a better discount for a non-first-timer at Hill House than 15%? I don't buy from them often, only during sales or with codes and they just released some to podcast sponsors. They excluded the blue Peony nap dress during whatever select sale they had but the 15% code works right now.
Edit to add: I know this is technically supposed to be snark but I'm not a superfan, just a casual buyer and I don't have anywhere else to ask
I think referrals are 20% off which is about as good a deal as is offered. I think I’ve seen some 25% and maybe some 30% around the holidays though!

Referral rejected because I'm not a first timer. Oh well, I'll think on the 15%. I'm 150 weeks pregnant with a whole summer of breastfeeding ahead of me and nap dresses do hide a lot of sins. I think the back view with the fresh flowers sewn on is better, but I wish they had just done MORE with the flowers! A few scattered here and there just don’t give Met Gala.
It’s a little disappointing that the dress already looks dated with that leotard underneath.
I think she looks lovely as well but this doesn’t at all look like a couture gown or feel particularly elevated. would have thought she would have had her botanical floral brand print reimagined in a more dramatic silk beaded gown situation.
