I definitely feel like she’s going to shut it down soon. There’s some tension in the comments of her post about turning off the anon feature, which I feel like would just make her want to shut it all down even more

The fact that her whole take is being upset that people got the same size ring as her for less money is so wild 😂 Obvious ethics aside, I can understand if somebody values the tradition of a natural diamond (ie, the thought of the rock forming in the earth for thousands of years etc etc). So if that’s what you wanted and value, okay great! But I don’t get why you need to be upset that people got a (more ethical) lab grown for a lower price

I agree! I really enjoy her newsletter. And I know others disagree, but I really like that she’s talked about her feelings throughout her divorce and how she’s processed it. I I think she’s been very respectful of her ex. Honestly, I’m nosy AF and would want more “juicy” details 😂. But I understand why she focuses on herself, and I think she’s handled it well.

I liked Melissa a lot during the peak of the Pandemic for similar reasons. She kept me consistent with at least doing SOME workout that was easy/gentle at a point when my motivation was like a zero. So I’ll always be grateful for that I guess. But now that I’m more back to normal, I’ve moved on to more challenging classes like pelaton, solid core etc

Also agreed! I legit loved her back in the day - I would read her blog first thing in the morning. I also miss the her unique & fun style. Her house is so bland now compared to what it was! I feel like she just felt pushed into the beige style because that’s what “all” the bloggers are doing now. It’s a bummer!

Agreed- I muted her a couple months ago and haven’t looked back. I didn’t unfollow because I do like Carly, and think as far as influencers go she’s pretty genuine. But it just felt like SO much baby content, and it was no longer serving my interests. I was prepared for a change in what she posts, but it felt pretty extreme.

I belonged to Few Moda for a couple months in fall and had a really bad experience. The quality was so low, it’s truly the only time I’ve ever left a negative review online. Multiple times they sent me a dress that was different than the online (ex they sent a black and yellow floral dress vs I had ordered navy and white). Idk, maybe they’ve improved but I would just be cautious!
