- Individual cases can have hundreds of rapes if they were in a relationship at the time (they count every instance).
- What is considered consent is also different from many other countries (Like when Assange was sentenced for rape in Sweden, many thought it was silly because that would not be considered rape in other places)
This is like the 40th rape I've seen committed by an illegal migrant in the past two years. I'm going to assume the number of illegal migrant rales is 50x as large as we see being reported. Meaning there are probably close to 2,000 rapes a year stemming from illegal migrants.

If these numbers are correct, then we should expect 3% of those 1,200 rapes (36 per day) to have been committed by undocumented migrants, if they are offending at the same rate as US citizens. If it’s any less than that, then they are offending at a lower rate than US citizens. I’m not seeing 36 of these stories each day.

Is someone stopping you from posting that if it’s actually news?
While it’s easy to plaster these cases all over the news, it’s not clear if it’s actually an immigration problem or just a rape problem. The reality is that over 1000 people are raped every day in the US - in most cases both the victim and perpetrator are US citizens. Is there any data to suggest that a disproportionate percentage of perpetrators (as a proportion of total population) are non citizens?
The difference is that cases like this one was 100% preventable.
