Out of these 8 photos, which one would you consider the best?

Probably the last one - the lighting is exquisite!

Last one.

This delicate white flower really pops against the dark background. I love how you can see all the tiny details, like the slender petals and those little orange-tipped stamens reaching out. The soft glow in the corner adds a warm, dreamy feeling too. It's amazing how something so small can look so magical when photographed up close like this.

Photographs 1 and 7 look best to me....although they're all quite nice.

The spider plant flower in the last picture. Recreate the shot with better lighting to reduce noise from high ISO. I’m sitting right next to mine which is also flowering rn!

The last one is the most interesting with amazing lighting. Personally, I love the color in the orange lilly photo. Great stuff!

I love the composition and colors of number 1 & 8. The others are nice, but in my opinion, they need tighter cropping to define the subject

I absolutely love the 6th one. I would put that on my wall.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.... that said, I think some have merit and it depends on what you're trying to achieve. What emotions or interest are you attempting to evoke from the audience? The first to me suggests movement and unbalance, maybe a flower that is not at ease. It makes for an interesting shot. The second is an experiment in focal length and I find the cropping a little uncomfortable because the focus doesn't seem to be balanced. Number three is very peaceful and well balanced. But the focus needs to be on the center of the flower for me. If I were going to add some sort of text to an image number 4 would be an awesome shot. Some words in the upper right corner would make a great motivational poster. The next, number 5, to me could be well used for something such as a sympathy card. Number 6, I see as a large format print for a office hallway. I think the white flowers and targeted focus against the almost Monet background make for a marvelous image. But to me the best of the bunch is the last shot. The focus is great, the dark background and contrast force the audience's immediate attention on the subject flower, the bokeh adds some interest and even intrigue. So I go with the crowd and think you saved the best for last.

The last one

I love the first one. It reminds me of either an early morning, or kind of cooler overcast rainy spring day. It’s calming and refreshing.

The last one is awesome too. Takes me back to a deep sunset next to a fire dancing around nearby. Warm and cozy, kind of makes it feel like vacation with friends you just made the day of.

All of these pictures are awesome! The fact that there’s a very specific feeling that gets brought forward with each of these images. They invoke emotion and memory, comfort in something that you may have never felt, but feels familiar. You can feel these photos. Awesome work

1&8 are my favorite, but they all came out nicely.

It’s a personal preference, but I’d close the aperture a little. I don’t like obliteration level bokeh and blur.

They are all really good

1 has a directionality along with the bokeh that makes it more artful in some ways. 5 also stands out because of the sharp focus on the organs of the flower, and again, your composition courtesy of the rule of thirds. There isn’t a bad one in the bunch, but you asked for preference.

Definitely the last one! The background colors on all of the other ones take away from the brightness of the flowers imo. While they do create a beautiful spring vibe they also don't give your eyes a clear thing to focus on intuitively. I love how the flower is highlighted against a black background

There's a lot to love about these pictures so this is really just me trying to convince myself that the one I have chosen is the print I'd take home if given then option; on another day I might choose something else.

I wrote a long message, but lost it. Here is the summary: Nice photos. I can tell you put effort into these shots, some of the shots are beautiful. My two cents:
1. Pretty colors and bokeh. Artistically, I don’t like the asymmetric tower in the middle of the shot flower. Maybe horizontal crop?
2. Lots of pretty flowers, but not too amazing photo?
3. Pretty, maybe recrop upwards slightly?
4. Cute flowers, a little busy. I’d prefer a horizontal crop.
5. Pretty bokeh and flowers, recrop in a little to show the beauty off.
6. Prettiest color. Would have preferred a wider DoF to get more of the flowers in focus. Maybe recrop a little tighter.
7. Cutest photo. Would have like both flowers to be in focus, and recrop downwards so the flowers are not in the center.
8. Nice low light photo. The bokeh of the orange flower or light is distracting, would recrop out. It’s kind of a grainy photo and the dynamic range is very low, so prints of this may not look that great.

The last one. The lighting in it is perfect. They are all very good! At first, I was torn between the first and last one, but the last one really captured my attention.

I think they are all beautiful. My favorite is the 5th one. I would hang that in my home.

The first one. You're using the rule of thirds, it has good depth of field, and the softness of the lighting reiterates the delicate nature of the flowers in the photo.

The blue flower and the orange flower are the ones I liked the most, so calming for the eye 🩵🧡

I could see them all being number one in different contexts. The single bloom ones I could see in upscale hotel rooms, others in restaurants, some in other decor.
