Yesss it's lovely suede! It has a decent weight to it, not too heavy though!
I was using it for a while in the winter as a tote and found it very comfortable to wear on my shoulder. Of course if you fill it up completely it will get a bit heavy, but that's something I don't really mind.

Delvaux, Moynat, Ralph Lauren, Miu Miu, Moreau, Lanvin, etc should be on there. Quite a few brands on that list are contemporary brands, not luxury. I feel like the word "luxury" stands for something completely different to a lot of people who aren't familiar with heritage high-end designers. They blur the lines on a lot of brands. When you've been around in the fashion world, "luxury" and "contemporary" are clear distinctions and not comparable.

The damier ebene noir vavin chain wallet for me, it's too small! 😭 I ordered it from their site foolishly thinking I'd make it work, tiny bags were all the craze... it definitely had a teeny bit more space than a chanel wallet on chain. Well I always got frustrated with lack of space whenever I tried wearing it.
I've been trying to sell it for almost a year now first through consigning with rebag (which went horribly bc they suck) and recently on vestiere while dropping the price. For the same amount of money I regret not just going for the graceful pm in monogram...☹️ If it doesn't sell I'll eventually gift it to someone close or maybe just end up forcing myself to wear it haha.
This is quite a common problem people have with their Empriente bags, some come deeply embossed and some look super faint. I have two Empriente items and luckily both have pretty prominent embossing but I've seen quite a few in-store that looked very faint. It's most likely why the person had it listed on Rebag. I've been coming across a lot of LV bags especially that are practically brand new, but upon close inspection there's definite issues like stitching, construction, zipper placement, etc. These types of things won't be disclosed by resale platforms as they aren't conditional faults, neither will the seller who is obviously trying to get rid of their dud purchase. Personally I'd return this and try out something else.
I have the black Empriente and it is subtle yet still makes for a beautiful well-made designer leather bag. I find it very classy looking when paired with my daily outfits. Or even when on vacation. It's going to be my mommy bag for sure.
Honestly if you get the black empriente I wouldn't be too worried of having the same bag as someone else, it's a popular bag and I find LV's leather bags much better in terms of quality and longevity so wear it! Besides you probably won't always be running into your sis-in-law, even if you do..."bag twins"! Imo it's not breaking girl code, you're spending your hard earned money on yourself so if that's going to cause an issue with her, that's probably something to discuss with her personally.
I also do really adore their bi-color bags, especially the neonoe...but can't bring myself to get one bc they just seem so loud 😅. Maybe I'll brave up to the print at some point!

Sometimes I think it's good that they're oblivious to how good reps can get. Better chances of not getting shut down bc of some clout chasing influencer needing new content. Who knows though, I feel like eventually some dumbass will air things to the masses at some point, the internet is free. Rip repladies...
I've also come to realize that most of these people buying cheap overpriced garbage don't give af, they just want something that's branded, even if it is plastic. For them it's less about the longevity or quality of an item and more about making a "statement" even though most people who've been around luxury or really good reps will immediately know and SMELL that it's fake af.
Hahaha I bought that larger size too and immediately returned it. 😆 It was HUGE, especially on a petite frame...I could practically sit in it! The medium size was much better, I found it on Lacoste's amazon store. I love it!

I had Disney channel playing in the background while I was doing homework and they played CrushCrushCrush during an ad break. I legit dropped everything and just stood in front of the tv watching the music video lmao. I did a DEEP dive into all their stuff after that.
My parents also weren't into the fact that I was 13 and wanted to go to a rock concert but I won tickets from a radio station contest and got to meet them backstage during their Honda Civic Tour...🥹🫶🏻 I'll never forget it
