I think in this price range you would be better off with an older but more reliable vehicle. The Sonic is what I would call a "disposable " car. If the engine or transmission dies on one of those (which is common) it's not worth what it would cost to fix. Get an old corolla or civic.

Plenty of people here also paid in excess of $70k for their GTs. Could you have gotten a better deal? Probably. You still did great and should feel good about it. Don't worry that Ford lost more money on someone else than they did on you.

Around here, the big trucks just leave a giant trailer hitch mounted that will certainly punch a hole right through someone's radiator. Problem solved.

I can tell you some pretty horrible things about my leasing experience with Chrysler capital. I will never deal with them again.

I've hit a huge pothole on the interstate and had a blowout with run flats fitted. It would have been a horrible place to be stranded, waiting for a tow truck. I drove slowly straight to the service place I used. I will always choose run flats if available.

I turned 50 and made the necessary changes. I have lost 85 lbs and it's staying off. Staying active and eating right is all it takes, and turning 50 doesn't mean it's too late.

It's never too late to reach for your goals, you can do it.

I would put the speakers and any home theater electronics up there because why not.

The creepy prediction of political media propaganda makes King a modern prophet. "Butcher of Bakersfield " / scapegoat ..

Oh yeah, and that wealthy "star " you all adore has been lying to you.

When the Dead hit Vegas in '94 there were tons of naked hippies swimming in lake Mead. I just remembered I went skinny dipping in lake Mead that one time.

Take it as a lesson learned. Don't like stuff if you don't want everyone you know to know that you like it. Even though it seems anonymous, everything you do can be tied back to you.

I had someone from r/machE tell me they picked up a '23 GT for under $40k plus tax, which is a smoking deal better than I got. The lower trims can be had in the 30s. Mine (also a GT) was sold for 50k, but they gave me $5k more towards my trade than anyone else in town was willing to do. I am happy with that deal, although I now know I left some money on the table. Considering there are GT owners who paid over $70k a year or so ago, I feel good about it.

My Ford Mach E is financed at zero percent for 72 months. I took delivery at the end of March.

If you're wanting to get your first electric car, this is the perfect time to do it. I went electric at the end of March and just got my level 2 charger installed yesterday. We are very happy how things have worked out. Oh, and get the GT if you can. They seem to be getting the largest discounts.

I'm not looking for anything specific after a zombie apocalypse, I just need something that runs and drives.

I had friends who were forbidden to see that film because of the depiction of human sacrifice. I thought it wasn't as good as rotla, but the sidekick being a kid appealed to me as a kid.

How else can I find all the cars not to consider buying all in one place?

I took a spill in '22 and broke my right arm. It was a compound fracture, bone stuck out of the skin and bleeding. It was the better part of a year before I was able to get back on the bike, I required 3 surgeries that year. The bike was easy to fix, my arm was not. I do strength training now in hopes I might actually be able to come away from another accident less damaged.

Based on this, I hold hope that as battery technology improves, we will eventually be able to swap in a higher capacity unit that weighs less.

Some of you might know or remember who Mark Mothersbaugh is. After co-founding Devo, Mark has had a long, extensive career in music and television production. Seriously, check out his Wikipedia page. You will probably be surprised and very impressed.

Last year in March, I began intermittent fasting. I don't eat prior to 5 pm most days except for heavy cream in my coffee, no sugar. I also basically quit sugar. Between this and regular exercise, I have lost around 85 pounds, and it's not coming back. I don't plan on going back to 3 meals a day. If I want to gain weight, I can without eating more meals daily. I am generally not hungry during the daytime. I usually stay on a ketogenic diet, however I vary my carb intake. Some days, I have very few carbs, and others I have plenty.

My bike was built with a bbshd mid drive and has never broken a chain in over 1000 miles.

If the power cable has enough slack, get a couple of long pvc pipes about 2" thick. Once you get them under there by prying up the edge a bit, it will roll on them where you want it. Be sure to drain it and cut off the power (this should go without saying. )

We did check out the etron a year or so ago, at the time the price they wanted for them was insane. It wouldn't have been a very realistic choice. My impression of Volkswagen cars has historically been that they often have issues with the electronics. That's not good when the whole car is electric. It's not that things don't work on them, but they are glitchy.
