I think they're referring to degrees of climbing ability. The ° is for designating degrees for angles and temps.

So I have a lectric, and I also have a Frey with a bafang mid drive. The lectric is not a great bike IMO. The frey on the other hand is. I would think this mid drive is much better torquewise and rideability than the lectric, and the Aventons. This is certainly a mid drive, and not a hub motor, whoever made that 4th picture has probably never even ridden an ebike. With all that said, I don't know that I would trust that frame, and a 13ah battery on a fat bike with a 750w hub motor will probably only get you about 15 miles. They do claim 24, but I feel like they always over advertise.

I have an aventon and I love it. Got the aventure 2 and it fucking rocks. It’s got a torque sensor instead of a cadence sensor so it feels super natural.
I don't recommend the Lectric either, I have an XP 3.0 with lots of issues (breaks totally failed, etc), now collecting dust.

I don't know the answer to your question, but Bafang engines are not bad. I currently have a BBS02 kit and have been riding for 6 years, but no matter.
Recently I'm going to go with a bike purchase and after research I'm ditching the bosch because there is zero access to spare parts, in favor of a bike with a Bafang engine of the type like in your picture, because they can all be unlocked and there is access to spare parts on the internet, you don't have to send the bike to a service center every time like a bosch or shimano engine.
Bafang is the gold standard for DIY conversions.
I would prefer Bafang to Bosch , a modern Brose is ok as long as I can get parts. The cx2 Bosch ones are nice, but do break, and parts are hard.
Bafang is really the only company that makes good motors and sells parts. And they make millions on engines.
bafang is so much better that they made a replacement motor to fit bosch bikes
I ride a VMG Typhon, with Bafang M510 motor. I go riding with a guy with a Focus Sam², with Bosch Gen4. Back to back, the Bafang is more powerful.

The motor pictured, bafang ultra m620, is a $800 unit. It's unlikely to be legit.

Random seller dropshipping through Walmart, far less so.
While there is nothing wrong will catalog bike frames or bafang, I would not trust the guy who is only a middleman and made the choices on components purely based on profit margin when they ordered the brand.
Bikes Direct does catalog bikes responsibly and exist in real life, not just on paper as a LLC registered in Delaware.
I bought a bafang motor 4 years ago, so far....bullet proof. Summer/winter bullet proof.

Probably some Chinese reseller. The bike is probably okay and the bafang motor and controller is definitely high quality. But there is nothing written about the battery which cells they used which is not ideal.
If you can afford a 2k bike and you are fine with Chinese bikes which generally have Higher power a bigger better and but not as high quality parts for the frame and shifter etc Check out wired e bikes.

Bafang makes good motors (and some flawed ones, so research the model). You might find that the battery and frame/other components are shit, though.
Not that bike but I got a super cheap made in china ebike off Amazon and despite feeling like it's on the verge of falling apart from day 1, I've gotten over 300 miles out of it so far as a daily commuter.

Just remember that an entry level full suspension bike - like one without a motor or battery - is 2k. A mid drive motor kit is 1200 - ish - and Walmart will have things marked to make a profit. So how good is a 200 dollar bike, and do you want to go 28 miles per hour on it?
Bafang probably does exaggerate a bit but if this is the M620 like it looks to be, then 160nm is what Bafang lists. I have the M620 and it's a fucking beast. It's too much honestly.
160nm is for 1000w version. 750w has 120nm(still enough to break your chains every few months) torque from bafang website But they all advertise like that just like car manufacturers.
My bike was built with a bbshd mid drive and has never broken a chain in over 1000 miles.

I just picked up a TSDZ2 and an 8ah battery for $1200. Best part about ebike conversion is you're not stuck with a 90lb bike if the battery dies.

I bought a Gotrax Tundra for $1,399 delivered, and have been really happy with it. Originally considered an Aventon Aventure 2 (My buddy has one), but the Gotrax has a larger battery and a little more power.

Look up bagang mid drive on Amazon. A lot of people have done conversions with bafang and have been really happy with them. It will be a lot less than this price too. Good luck!

It looks like a good bike at a good price. The issue is the seller. What will you do if they fail to send the bike, it arrives damaged or it develops a fault? You can decide to take that risk for low value purchases of simple items. With an e bike, you are quite likely to have issues and the cost is too much to write off. So the quality and reputation of the seller should be critical factors in your decision.
For $1500 you could get a reputable brand with stores in the US like Aventon. I’d probably go that route rather than gamble on an unknown. Walmart is not known for selling high quality bikes.
The motor is both one of the strongest and one of the cheapest mid drive motors. I have a bike with that motor that I'm quite happy with. Doesn't specify brakes or forks etc though so there's a good chance those are really not that great. Battery is not very big but how much you need depends how much assist you use and how far you plan on going
I would go with Lectric only problem I have with them is they use trash FedEx to ship and FedEx always fucks my shipping up and never delivery's correct and I have to call and bitch them out.
By a brand bike .. that you know i.e. specialized, Trek .. and you will have less problems down the road with repairs and replacing parts if needed.. if you think they are too expensive look at a gently used one .. .. what im seeing is a decent motor and a so-so bike. brakes look cheap, cranks look cheap.. everything is probably made out of cheap grade low carbon steel

The Hyper full suspension 29er with Vinka motor is a better platform. You can buy a brand new spare motor for 50 bucks.

If the seller is walmart.com or a "Pro Seller" with in-store return policy it'd be an expensive but relatively low risk to try it out. But for not too much more, Ride1Up sells a mid-drive coming from a more reputable manufacturer.

ZNH is not a brand, it's the name of the "company" that is posting this on the Walmart website which acts like Amazon with sellers from who knows where around the world. That is a bafang mid drive motor and DON'T BUY THIS it's the model that requires a special frame according to that picture. Either that or they don't know what the fuck they are selling and it's something like a BBS02 and they just used that picture because they are moron dropshippers.

The language barrier will always be a confusing process for analyzing what you get for your money, but without looking up the listing I can't really give you an opinion on the value past the fact that it's a Bafang motor which is a good thing and it has a four link rear suspension? That's usually a term used for automotive suspension. You need to price the components and zoom in on the welds of the frame. As well as the tire, brakes, and shock brands and determine how much you're getting for the money. If you're comfortable with the components and you can't get more from a reviewed brand, then take a shot, but only if you're competent to repair or maintain what could be shoddy workmanship. I doubt that you will find a comparable mid drive for the money, but unless you are capable of addressing any failure points yourself you might find that a good repair shop won't work on an unknown brand. Proceed with caution and lots of research.
It's not a Walmart bike. That's an important distinction. That seller is just using their marketplace listings. This is no different then all the Amazon marketplace bikes.
Walmart will not make good on anything if you have a problem later. Most of these listings are fly by night operaations and may not exist once they go through their current stock.
Just so you have some comparison info while you are deciding:
My 5,000 watt kit with speed controller and motor with laced wheel and all the wiring, color screen and throttle was about $900-1000
My 3,000 was around 6-800
I also have personally (and talked to a couple friends) who have had outstandingly Horrible experiences with the “Walmart marketplace” it feels like it’s basically Craigslist and good luck getting customer service help lol (just my experience)
I actually picked up a used motobecane on marketplace last week that I was planning to diy. Having second thought about diy because all the kits I can afford look like Chinese junk. My total budget is realisticly about $700 and I just spent $80 on the bike.

But I didn’t want to have to pedal so hard up hills, that’s why I modded all of mine except for the BMX

i use motors from aliexpress... theyre all made in china may as well cut out the middleman.. these reputable companies with warrantys sell the same thing for so much more and the parts are so reliable and easy to replace your better off just replacing something if it were to break and not dealing with the company warranty process that might not even work out
