I agree. You can clearly see how biased people here on reddit are. During covid in several countries a lot of 'demonstrations' were prohibited (same reason as in HK) and the police had to intervene. When the media writes about HK they frame the rioters as warriors of democracy but they frame western demonstrators here as anti-covid believers. Not quite fair.
