I've been shopping for lip gloss lately. I'm curious to know which lip gloss makes you go 'wow' as soon as you apply it, and if you've decided to stick with it until they stop making it. (If you can include color descriptions, even better!)

i’m obsessed with Anastasia lip glosses. they have the coverage of a lipstick but feel and have the shine of a lip gloss
same, even when the gloss is gone from eating/drinking, the color is still there.

Lifter gloss from maybelline
It Cosmetics Confidence In A Serum Gloss in the shade self worth. It’s extremely flattering on every skin tone and is extremely comfortable. I’ve also been using the Lancôme Lip Idole Butterglow Lip Balm and while it’s not necessarily a gloss, it looks like one and is so comfortable and I love the shades they have. I’ve been wearing it topped with the It Cosmetics gloss and it feels like i’m wearing a lip mask. So good!!
I really fell in love with the GrandeLips Lip Plumper Glosses. I have every color. They are so moisturizing. And of course the iconic Dior Lip polish. But that’s a splurge once in a while.

The Hard Candy Glosstopia glosses are excellent
Fenty is still my favorite formula, Tower 28 is good and affordable. Buxom lip creams are nice and plumping. Lawless forget the filler is okay, overrated IMO because you get so little product, I’ve used it 3 times and the tube is half empty already. Patrick Ta plumping gloss is nice, nice smell and light plumping.

Pat mcgrath, doesn't move easily, is non sticky, lasts even after a meal and when the gloss is gone leaves a color behind
This is exactly how Kim Chi high key gloss is formulated as well. I don’t know who stole whose formula, but I’m all about being able to buy a selection of glosses in different shades and that’s harder to do when they are priced ridiculously high like Pat McGrath products.
Definitely worth checking out Kim Chi because it is only $8 and the Pat McGrath is $30 each!
I adore the burn, so anything like the extreme plumping glosses from Too Faced.

This one yeah. Not sure about that plumping effect even if I have small lips, but I don't really care about that :p It looks really good on the lips tho, sparkles too, and the fact it doesn't stick.......... Game changer

let me be clear that the only reason fenty is my “least favourite” is because of the glitter in it 😭 i don’t dislike it by any means, it’s just not my favourite gloss in my collection.
i love the dior lip oil, clarins lip oil, laneige lip glow, olehenrikson lip peptide. basically anything super glossy without glitter
Gotcha! I personally LOVE the glitter. I have tried the cream ones from Fenty too and those are less glittery and liked as well. For lip oils, my go-to has been INNBEAUTY!

I have been so impressed by the Covergirl yummy glosses. I have never had a gloss last so long without reapplication and through eating before, even high-end brands. They burn though lol. For the first 10 minutes and then it stops. It's worth it to me so I wear them anyway but that could be offputting for some
And they’re oils, but I’m obsessed with the Nyx fat oils. The packaging sucks though so it's hard to get the product out once it's half empty.
I second the yummy glosses. For me it’s more of a tingle and I love it. I’m just about done with one tube. It’s lasted me almost three months with daily wear.
I wanted to come back to this because I got some more colors and I noticed the sensation is different with different ones! The strawberry one is just a gentle tingle, let’s get fizzical straight up burns 😂

NARS Afterglow in Unbroken or Orgasm. Both pretty neutral, youthful pink shades. I’m really pale and like an understated look, so when I wear makeup it’s always one of these 2.

A plumping gloss will obviously never give you the same effect as filler, no matter how good it is
The Lawless lipglosses make me look like I had lip filler. Great colors, such a thick shiny finish and they smell good.
Maybelline Lifter Glosses! I love the shades: petal (neutral mlbb rose), heat (rosy watermelon warm sheer), and sweetheart (orangey-coral sheer candy color)

I'm really into Kylie Jenner High Gloss, Queen Cosmetics, Colourpop Lip Oil, and the flavored glosses at Bath and Body Works. Beauty Bakerie also has some good ones, but not many colors.
Nyx fat oil!! They are cushiony feeling and not sticky and love the shades. Very moisturizing too.

I love love love the Glowing Lips from ColourPop more than any other lip product I’ve ever used - and I’ve tried a lot - they’re the perfect combination of pigment and shine. I have the colors Indulge Me & La Cienega but I kind of wish I would have just bought the whole collection. I’ll be so sad if they ever get rid of them
Queen Cosmetics - All of them, but especially the Holographics. I wear the shades “Venus” and “Golden Hour” most often.

I have the Fenty lip gloss in Fenty Glow and the Color Pop lip gloss in Come Thru. I use the Color Pop one more often. To me, they look exactly alike and the Color Pop lasts longer.
Hourglass Phantom Glossy Lip in Lure or Slip are my top favorites. They’re ridiculously expensive though so I only buy it when I can get at least $10 off and feel really comfortable with having a splurge item. But the formula is perfect, nothing soothes and hydrates my lips quite the same, and the shade Lure is my perfect flush of deep berry/plum without being overwhelming. I also really enjoy the Charlotte Tilbury Superstar Lips in Pillowtalk- it’s a much cooler toned version of the shade, very sheer and flattering in a more natural look, but also stays in place for a long time and feels super hydrating. It’s another one I feel is wildly overpriced but one tube has lasted me years of regular use so I’d get it again with a coupon or on Black Friday.
Also like it literally stains so nicely and for so long. I have shade “Entice” and it’s absolutely perfect for summer with bronzed skin

Covergirl has a variety of great glosses, it can easily rival the high end ones.
I really like their Yummy gloss. I love a doe foot applicator, and I think there's good color payoff.

Don’t feel basic. It’s better than many many many more expensive brands IMO.
Tower 28 lip jelly. Never sticky and I don’t need to reapply often. I also think all of the shades look good on pretty much anyone.

I have some Rimmel gloss that I bought on a whim when I was at the grocery store a few months back. I always forget how good it is and when I wear it, I think I should get more. It’s fairly pigmented, not sticky, not too shiny and lasts a really long time.
Romand glasting color gloss in "dim mauve," flower knows moonlight mermaid gloss in "moon stone," and their chocolate wondershop lip cream in "pink cashmere." These 3 lip products are all cool toned and don’t look orange, which is such a breath of fresh air for me. I’m tired of trying lippies that end up looking orange, especially when they’re described as cool toned. The formulas are stunning and flower knows just has insanely ethereal packaging.

Kiko Milano ones
Morphe 2 glassified lip oil in the shade extra glaze, described as a sheer peach. I sometimes use it in combination with the Maybelline lifter glosses because I have almost every shade of them and they last longer in my experience, so the lip oil adds a little more shine to them.

Seconding this one! Especially with a romand blur lip under it as a sort of "lip liner" 😍

The lip mask from Trader Joes. It's around 7.00. Really works to keep my lips hydrated. Also like any of the glosses from City Lips but have to wait for a sale on those and anything in the Nyx line.
I almost grabbed this yesterday, but put it back because I have other balms to use still. Is it similar to Laneige?
I think it's better than lineage, but that may have something to do with the price😁. I keep one one my nightstand and one in my purse. A little goes a long way, and it lasts. I use it at night before bed, and in the morning, I can feel it's still there but not in a greasy way. I'd really recommend it.

City lips (it plumps, yes) it makes my lips soooo juicy and I feel like it last for at least 1-2 hours before I go… huh … need more juicy. As opposed to only a few minutes later. I’ve my tube for so long. And it’s supposed to keep them plump all day after using it for 30 days (it’s hyaluronic acid)

Fenty Gloss Bomb in Fenty Glow. It’s a shimmery rose nude color, it’s my favorite lip gloss ever. I have a million glosses but if I could only have one, it would be this one.
Essence extreme shine lip plumper (color 02 pretty in pink) Just perfect. Non-sticky formula, lots of shine and shimmer and a fabulous color. Plus it’s cheap and easy to find. 100% recommended. Hope it helps!! ❤️

I just got Maybelline Lifter gloss w/ HA and I’m loving it. Helps keep my lips moisturized throughout the day, isn’t sticky, & has good pigmentation for a gloss.

The ABH lipgloss is clear is very nice (haven’t tried the other colors). It’s not sticky, it lasts. My other favorite is the MAC clear lipglass in the squeeze tube.
My daily go to are the NYX lip butters though.

Both great but very different. The nyx butter gloss is less shiny / not thick / lower key than the fenty ones but super comfy to wear and inexpensive. Their lip oils are super thick and glass like though, i love them
I’m so glad you asked. I love talking about lip gloss😂Revlon super lustrous! It’s my ride or die, holy grail lip gloss. I’ve bought many, many….many lip glosses but I always come back to my Revlon gloss, nothing else quite does it for me. I used the shade “fatal apple” yesterday on top of red lip liner after not having used it for a a while and I was just obsessed. It just makes my lips feel moisturized and look super shiny and it’s not too sticky or goopy for my tastes. It’s just perfect. A classic for a reason.
Some honorable mentions would be Milani highly rated diamond lip gloss and the Kiko Milano Hydra glosses tied for second

always hated glosses because they felt so goopy and gross on my lips until I tried Tower28 lip jellies. THey're so great, moisturizing and I love the colours. My favourite is sesame.
These are definitely in my top 5 favorite glosses ever. I’ve used up 2 (xoxo and cashew)! Im currently trying to use up other glosses I own but I’m definitely repurchasing these in the future!

I’m loving Lawless Forget the Filler, really makes lips look plump and has great pigmentation! I have Violet Bloom and Daisy Girl, and will probably get Maple Sugar this fall. I also really like Maybelline Lifter Gloss, the hyaluronic acid is great, it’s nice having soft lips at the end of the day.
