One way is to not have facebook ig, another is to use someone else’s account lol
Requires one to use facebook.
Because nobody uses Facebook
what is that comment 😂
We still want the STL…
I would ruin it if I tried to paint it lol

Have more faith in yourself! There are some great youtube paint tutorials for 3D prints. And with a black dragon like that, all you would really need is some grey accents for detail to make it really pop.
Start basic. I started with just solid color and slowly built to multicolor and just now learning how to shade/highlight. It’s a learning process. I love painting my prints, it brings the hobby full circle. I believe in you!
It does look great just way the way it is, good job!
Look into drybrushing. Spray it with a good plastic primer and then pick some colors you like, transitioning from darker to lighter versions.
This is the ultimate guide: Artis Opus Drybrushing
Note that you don't need the expensive paints or brushes. You can do this with craft paints and brushes from your local big box store.
Look up the slap chop painting method. It’s a very easy technique that gives great results. Many people use it for miniatures such as Warhammer 40k and D&D minis
Link? :)
Looks really good!
Omg I love it ! What's the name of the print ? I've been looking for one of these for a long while now !
It's a paid stl from CraftyKid3D, you can buy it or subscribe to get access to all of his designs on his patreon.
I think CraftKid3D knocked this off of another designer.
This should be the original. My guess is he downloaded it and modified the file in blender to close the mouth by redesigning that part. And also moved the fingers I guess, still 3 though.

Miniatures of madness designed a ton of book nooks, this was one of his more famous ones. The nose and eyes look too similar to be a coincidence.
Thanks for reminding me that I backed that and I have all those files waiting to be printed. It's in the queue now!
The goblin one is fantastic! Well worth printing. The medusa one is awesome as well
Good to know! I'm going to do some as gifts this year, so I should probably get started.
I'll probably have to cut them up a ton to fit on my A1 Mini. It'll take time to hide the cut lines enough to paint them.
What settings did you use to get that level of detail?
Went with 15% infill, 3 wall loops, and arachne slicer. I used tree supports and printed it facing upwards with 0.2 layer height but set the layers to adaptive. Took like 25 hours, lol. I'm printing on the p1p so it fits fully in the bed, not sure if you need to cut it down, how to go about it...
Thank you! That’s pretty much my default, too. Did you use a .4 nozzle?
Bambu slicer does a pretty good job of cutting objects down. It’ll just take some time and fitting to make it look good. I’m looking forward to a larger printer later this year.
Ya, 0.4 nozzle. Bambu labs makes just such damn good printers.
That's good to know. Thanks
The goblin one is really good too! Wanted to make it known on the creator thing though, cause they did a great job.

Awesome print.
I recently printed it too and I spent a lot of time painting supports on almost every little horn of the Dragon's Head. Which I don't regret because after all that preprocessing it was printed successfully on the first try. The claw however hasn't been perfectly printed in any of my three attempts but at least the defects are not very visible so I am actually very happy with the overall result, which is incredibly amazing. I printed the head and the claw in purple glitter pla filament and the glitter effect makes it shine with the light and makes the print look even better. Very happy with the project overall. The next project is the Slytherin snake book nook from the same designer.
The only thing I had an issue with was the holder oddly
Nice
Looks great, is it gonna be a book nook?
Yep! Present for mother's day
What type of printer do you use!
Just a Neptune 3 pro
nice details. Which printer? and how much effort did you put in post-processing to achieve this?
Neptune 3 pro. None apart from changing layer height from .2 to .12

Looks cool! Which printer did u use and how much time did it take?
Neptune 3 pro, I think total like 30ish hours
Nice!!! At what speed? Since i've seen the Nepturne 3 Pro is highly faster than my ender 3 v2 Neo. Just to check if my anxiety lets me print that awesome work. Lol. Thanks!
Not sure, whatever the standard setting is. Tbh Idk much about printing so I don't mess with much
I tried this print back in December and could never quite get the claws to print right regardless of the settings or orientation.
What did you use to get them to print right?
The claw has issues at the tips of the claws. But I didn't change anything about it, just did tree supports.
The first photo had an optical illusion. It looked like you had buried it into countertop. It looked like it was smashing through it and was very awesome.
Nice print!

Wow
Is this pla or petg? Or other?
Great print what ever it is though
PLA+
Cheers
You need a new sink
It's a work in progress stripping the paint off it
More pics/angles please
Excellent work sir 👌
Hey, uh, you’re not washing that print in your sink are you?
Edit: nvm. Seeing it on my phone, I thought it was resin
Shouldn't matter, it's filament
Oh shit! That looks good!! I saw the pic on my phone and couldn’t tell. I definitely see it now!
Better lighting lol
Obligatory stl?
