Definitely just do a quick check as described above(stop print, raise, try extruding), replacing extruder arm for a metal one is pretty common. Also yeah looks pretty close...

More pics/angles please

Excellent work sir πŸ‘Œ

Yeah depends on what you want to do

Simple burns with Lightburn are a doddle to setup (relatively), you might struggle if you want to start doing multicoloured laser burns and the ilk

Excellent work sir, leg it from academia.

Had a similar experience, only one of my mates is still grinding through, the rest of us are in industry.

Tiny percentage get to professor, the rest are lab monkeys/grant grubbers.

Better pay and more prospects.

Crack on mate πŸ‘

You can also experiment with how the supports attach/join to your model. You can increase/decrease the contact area of the support and such, less contact will leave less of a mark, and supports will be easier to remove...obviously if you go too low, it renders the supports pointless.

Why....why are you doing this? Why?!

Don't give up, once it clicks it clicks

Have you been successful when manually levelling? Try running a very slow print to check adhesion is actually happening? It is clearly gliding above the plate, nowhere near close enough.

Seen alot of posts with auto levellers, where the basics aren't being checked & assuming it will just sort itself out.

Personally, I've never used them, once it's levelled, that's it really which you can do by hand with more control, in my opinion.

If you want spare parts, bring kne back to life or another project, then absolutely. You could give making one of those bottle filament recyclers a go, they only really require spare parts from an ender 3

Outstanding sir πŸ‘ πŸ‘Œ

Immense, superb work sir πŸ‘ πŸ‘Œ

Warm water can help soften the support connections, alot of times I can just peel the supports away after a bit of a soak.

That is scandalous, however...Why oh why did you give them your money?!

What a little cunt with dog shit parents

Don't cover shifts for some time. You are not contractually obliged to cover shifts, this is the managers problem. Others will be doing the same, you're currently the monkey boy and will be permanently if you don't push back.
