Ring of Pride. At this point in life, my main goal is to get good at a particular thing, so that would clearly help achieve it.

My favorite director is Krysdopher Nhoellen.

The main bird person I knew growing up was my mother, so I just always associated bird watching with women and assumed it was an extremely feminine hobby. As a cis-het male sexual tyrannosaurus, I just wasn't interested.

Last year, I bought my first set of binoculars for a trip to Alaska and decided to test it out looking at birds around my neighborhood. That's when I had this epic realization that bird watching is kind of like hunting without the killing part, which should have had obvious appeal to me all along. I happen to like target shooting but have no interest whatsoever in hunting because I just have no need or desire to hunt for my own resources, and I find hunting for recreation to be morally questionable (for me, not others; I acknowledge that the decision is more nuanced for many others).

Bird watching is a bit like IRL Pokémon Go. I totally get the appeal now. I still don't do it, as I have other hobbies, but I at least get it.

Last night was really great, babe. I'm hoping you'll always prioritize my pleasure.

Fuck dude, you hit me in the nostalgia nuts. Friday's was so good back in the days, and a perfect answer to this question. Great variety, unique takes on common items, etc. I remember they had insanely good nachos absolutely smothered in refried beans and melted cheese so they were practically like mini Taco Bell pizzas, but way better, lol. They also had the best fried mac & cheese bits I've ever had. A delicious chicken tender sandwich.

The last time I went to one was like 10 years ago and it was nothing like in the 90s. They basically just had a really standard one-page burger menu, and the value was mostly worse than your typical Applebee's or whatever.

Without. In this case, separation feels like a misguided attempt to solve a different problem, which is lack of contrast between environments and characters. Obviously, there's only so much you can do with a relatively low number of available pixels and colors, and classic games often suffered from the same issue. But there are ways to highlight character sprites, make environments feel more in the background, etc. Try playing with colors a little more to achieve the effect of separation rather than actual physical separation.

Father, I'm so sorry, I enjoyed sex with my wife last night. We were actively trying to conceive, but I just didn't expect to enjoy it as much as I did.

This latest Tesla model features our Full Self-Awareness technology (FSA). Not only can the car drive, but it's basically a fully sentient AI you can converse with. Let's try out a simple prompt. Tesla, according to the state driving manual, how do I determine safe follow8ng distance on the highway?

Car: "As of my last knowledge update..."

"Dude, I told you so many times my birthday was coming up."

"You think I'm gay, bro?"

"What? It's not gay to remember your homie's birthday."

"Bro, that's literally the definition of gay. I'm going to sleep. Don't hog the covers."

Realistically, you can kind of do this stuff on a boat anyway, even if it's illegal. I just don't see any incentive to grow it to the point of having mainstream visibility. If some rich guy wants to do cochise on his boat with a few friends, I'm sure he can do it today, no problem.

As parents, we are very encouraged by what we've seen on this tour of your preschool, and we're strongly considering enrolling our 3 young children. I do have one question. Are all of the activities group-based, or do the children receive any individual instruction, and if so, how much?

Oh, we go balls deep with every child individually.

We're finally going to give the fans what they've been asking for. We're going to rerelease the classic Star Wars: Battlefront games in a remastered collection. But here's the kicker. We'll only have 1 dedicated multi-player server at launch to save costs. We'll make a fortune!

Society functions when people find ways to get along. When that core premise is compromised, there's no good way to accomplish anything social in nature. One of the great evils of contemporary Western feminism is that it has brainwashed countless people into thinking that hard rules about never approaching women in the off chance they might be offended or uncomfortable are somehow viable ways of improving, let alone maintaining, society. It's like that meme where the girl asks why homeless people don't just buy houses. If you make something impossible, don't be surprised when it no longer happens.

Ultimately, everyone is free to decide for themselves if men should be allowed to approach women. I understand there are legitimate arguments for not having that. But if you simultaneously think that's the case and then get angry that men aren't initiating all these great and wonderful relationships like our ancestors had, that's just stupid.

It blows my mind that people used to, you know, just casually strike up conversations in public, and now we need video evidence that will stand up in a court of law for every little fucking interaction.

Admittedly, it's been a while since I played, but if I remember correctly, surrender rarely shows up as optimal in basic strategy tables. If you're betting so much that you need to surrender to minimize losses at the cost of long-term returns, you're betting way too much for your bankroll to begin with.

These "rules" are ultimately just informed guesses based on historical data. Not even the top experts know if 3% or 4% or even 10% will be optimal for your specific retirement, because it's all in the future and there are so many chaotic variables in play. Based on what I've read, I think 3% is more appropriate starting out, but in general, the longer the retirement, the wider the distribution of likely outcomes.

When you play around with something like FIRECalc, long retirements are always like, "Well, you might end up broke or with $450 quadrillion based on a 4% withdrawal rate." As retirements have gotten longer, people are increasingly becoming aware of the fact that constant spending models just aren't very practical for self-funded retirements. They're mostly based on assumptions under traditional pensions which spread the actuarial risk across a wider population, unlike a 401k.

I think you could do a whole lot worse than targeting 3% to start and then increasing spending as appropriate based on market returns. Of course, most people reduce spending in retirement, which is the great irony in all this.

In any case, it's still very early for you to worry about it. These are the sorts of questions you ask yourself when you're at 4% and wondering whether it's worth continuing just a bit longer to reach 3%.

I always cash them in immediately and move the money into my main index funds. I would only consider holding them if there were special quirks or incentives to the specific RSU plan, but the ones I've had were always fairly standard.
