Hey Marge, remember how we used to make-out to this hymn?
Kramer Golfing at the river Ocean.
The little girl in the OG Night of the Living Dead. Her stabbing her mom w a trowel.
Not at all, it's just funny she apparently got it 19×.
Yes quite a few did and went on to do other things. Now it's not even asked if you are/were, no one gives a crap. Funny enough, my mom was in a nursing home at the time. She tested positive for COVID 19x and felt great w NO symptoms. (The staff I had working there kept us updated all the time.) It was quite a regular occurrence to have staff not just move floors (COVID+ to a non-postitive wing, etc) but whole separate facilities. The State didn't care and regularly took in new patients/residents who were positive and just assigned them wherever.
I thank God I had that connection to my mom through my staff and could keep us updated w/ the "real info" etc.
P.s. out of my entire staff only 2 came down w COVID during the pandemic. 1 was "vaccinated" one wasn't. I just came down w COVID for the 1st time this Easter. I know it's not the same strain, but wonder why not me earlier vs other?
You'd even "blouse" your shirt once it was tucked in. Talk about "muffin tops". Sizes/cut were just weird too. Lots of shirts w/o collar/lapels (just banded collars), pleated pants, tight ankle etc. Then grunge hit, and you at least had a choice of straight leg/boot cut or 7x too long. 😆
Yakko wants to have a word with these countries
Prob not, but I think it shows (at least for some) their true colors. I did see several "NYU students" protesting (that didn't go to the school) that didn't even know what they were protesting about OR who Hamas even was. This is why advanced history class BEYOND "bulletpoints" is needed. I think IMO they "failed" at HS and even worse now at college. It's disgraceful and they belong over at @ the idiocracy sub instead.
Seeing as he's Jewish, isn't that antisemitic? Against their OWN codes of conduct?Couldn't they ALL be expelled for that?
Anti-Semitic conduct implicates the Policy and can manifest in the Duke environment in a number of ways. The International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance defines anti-Semitism as “a certain perception of Jews, which may be expressed as hatred toward Jews. Rhetorical and physical manifestations of antisemitism are directed toward Jewish or non-Jewish individuals and/or their property, toward Jewish community institutions and religious facilities.” Examples of anti-Semitic conduct that implicates this Policy include:
Repeated instances of anti-Semitic slurs directed toward an individual, regardless of whether that individual is Jewish.
Refusing to allow an individual to participate in any program sponsored or hosted by Duke because they are perceived to be from Israel, are associated with a Jewish organization, wears religious attire, like a kippah, or displays a religious symbol associated with Judaism, like a Star of David.
Defacing a Jewish employee’s or student’s property with a hateful symbol such as a swastika.
Using force or intimidation to obstruct the path of an employee or student because they are Jewish, perceived to be Jewish, or supportive of Jewish institutions or organizations.
Refusing to grant a student some expected benefit, such as a letter of recommendation, based on the perception that the student is Jewish, is associated with a Jewish organization, or because that student is perceived to be from Israel.
Thank you Prism. I've worked in Healthcare for 15+ yrs now. 90% of my staff (that are RNs, PCNs, LPNs and even NPs) refused to get vaccinated because they didn't know the long-term side effects etc. They didn't trust the rushed product. The others that were CNAs didn't, not because they're Dems or conspiracy nuts, cause they were a Minority and didn't trust the Govt. They're finding out now there is a correlation between the two, causing an increase in heart related problems with the teens and young adults (20-35). Cardiomyopothy is scary AF. (We just had 2 teens die of it the last two months in my area.) Healthy athletes etc. no prior health related issues. Is it just coincidence? I dunno?

"The Burmese Melon Fly has over 1000 sex partners."
100s of 1000s of people rode this thing, I'm surprised it still works let alone is fun anymore.
I've worked in healthcare for 15yrs, it's absolutely terrifying. 90% of most nursing facilities and retirement homes are running BELOW State mandated staffing levels. Medicare/Medicaid is only paying 45% of bills instead of the covid 90-100%. This means they can't hire staff, (they can't afford it) and those that WANT to get hired expect 3x the reg. rates (thanks to all that 2020-22 Govt COVID $$$ that was given to entice healthcare workers.) Those that DID work are so burnt out, so many quit and moved on. (My staff preCOVID was 342. Now, 23, everyone else went to other professions. It's insane.) We've NEVER seen anything like this. It's not sustainable at all! My company is closing cause facilities can't pay their bills (many over 2yrs old!).
When I get dementia, just let me wander around a Caribbean island or take me out back and shoot me.
As of last month I had 3 jobs. (Was at 1 for 1 yr, 1 for 3yrs and another <healthcare job> 15yrs) All 3 of them are now literally gone. 2 of the businesses closed up (after 15 and 20yrs+). One was food, the other healthcare. Neither is no longer profitable due to rising costs/taxes/insurance etc. The healthcare business is still waiting on 2yrs worth of back payments from the Govt and nursing facilities and is now bankrupt, we can't even pay the staff, and we already took out loans etc. (We're owed at least $50k-100k because Medicare and Medicaid is now only paying roughly 45% of incurred costs instead of the 100% pre COVID, (no increase has been made to catch-up to inflation).
COVID is still playing the Reaper 4 yrs on. My 3rd job was moved to Chicago because of our State raising taxes & insurance, shipping and material costs etc. It was decided it was easier for them to consolidate than have 2 separate facilities, and I can't move because of my wife's job, kids, school, family etc.
On top of that we now had medical bills and need a new (old used) car cause our 15yo vehicle just died and it's only worth $1200 and they want $3k to fix the computer and engine manifold regulator (or wtf it's called).
I'm completely devastated and completely "lost". I'm ready to watch the world 🔥.
Our reg. gas where I am here in SCPA is $3.89/gal. and milk is $4.27/gal.

As I dad, I can 1000% relate now, compared to watching it as a kid.
