Ok, we can end it here.

It's a bit relevant if you want to understand why phones can be problematic for teachers though. Kids can get up to some real inappropriate junk with them. Good news is Go Guardian exists, so teachers can monitor their Chromebook use during class at least.

I don't support banning them from schools completely for the record. And I didn't write the bill.

Have a nice night.

I'm not allowed to say they're disruptive and can create a hostile environment at times?

Have you ever worked in a classroom environment before?

Sure, you can abuse any tech. Not denying that. Just pointing out it's a lot easier to be sneaky with a phone.

And fun fact: Teachers can actually monitor Chromebook activity with Go Guardian.

I haven't shifted any goalposts. My original post had nothing to do with school violence. I was mentioning that there's no need for middle schoolers to be fooling around on Tiktok and other social media during class. Period.

I've literally never seen a student attempt that. Been in the field a while now.

From my previous reply:

"I'm not saying ban them completely from schools. I'm saying ban them from being OUT in class when NOT NEEDED."

Emphasis on them being out. Like, being out of backpacks. During an emergency you can certainly unzip a backpack.

Read my previous reply so I don't need to repeat myself regarding school shootings. And you can use AI, calculators, learning apps, etc. on a Chromebook, yes?

From the article:

"The parties mutually contend that Trump violated the Ku Klux Klan Act of 1871, a law barring mob violence directed at federal officials, and they have made substantial allegations of physical and emotional injury because of his conduct leading up to and on Jan. 6, 2021."

Still can't believe the timeline we're living in. How the hell did we get here?

No wonder Majorie Taylor Greene wants to ban porn. She's just jealous they make a lot more than her.

"Hate cops? Next time you need help call a crackhead."

Hypothetically speak here: What if you're a crack addict and need more crack? I'd probably not want to speak to a cop.

He's offended by it, so therefore everyone else needs to stop doing it? Just sounds like a control freak hypocrite cherry picking other's rights.

Hey, I'm against their dumb vulgar MAGA bumper stickers and flags, but I still defend their right to display them.

I'm not saying ban them completely from schools. I'm saying ban them from being OUT in class when NOT NEEDED. Absolutely zero need to have a phone out during a test or classwork. Life or death emergencies (god forbid) are a completely different situation.

Those opposed to this: Give me one reason a 13 year old needs access to tiktok and youtube shorts in the classroom. If you've never taught a classroom of thirty feral middle schoolers in your life, you really have no idea how disruptive that shit is.

Trump toadies are so embarrassing. Only war Fat Donnie ever fought in was the line at his local McDonald's.

And technically the judge has a right to say they don't.

All they're doing is legitimizing the political interference of a criminal trial, the very thing they're supposedly protesting against.

So he's quoting what Trump told the right wing extremist Proud Boys? Weird flex.

We're not shocked that students act bad. We're shocked that some schools have given up on issuing consequences after they blatantly disrespect others in the classroom.

Definitely not a far right cult member or anything like that.

Why do these whiny Trump supporters claim every situation is "rigged?" Jesus, they even claimed the 2016 election was rigged and they actually WON.
