Clark County schools to ban cellphones for middle, high schoolers - The Nevada Independent
[Education]And I agree. So why do you support completely disabling a child's phone? This prevents them from potentially receiving family emergency calls, having access to 911 during emergencies, and using the device itself as a learning tool.
Where did I say I agree with disabling a child's phone?
Ffs your first comment is "To those who oppose this:" and then your ridiculous challenge. If you're not in support of the linked article in the OP, why the fuck are you even commenting?
I'm not allowed to say they're disruptive and can create a hostile environment at times?
Have you ever worked in a classroom environment before?
Irrelevant if I have. I'm done wasting time on this. You commented some nonsense and I gave you three examples. No more to discuss.
Ok, we can end it here.
It's a bit relevant if you want to understand why phones can be problematic for teachers though. Kids can get up to some real inappropriate junk with them. Good news is Go Guardian exists, so teachers can monitor their Chromebook use during class at least.
I don't support banning them from schools completely for the record. And I didn't write the bill.
Have a nice night.
