Nature day trips from Copenhagen?

Hi, been living here for almost 6 years. Would love to drive somewhere out in nature today, but I’ve done all the usual suspects several times (dyrehaven, møns/stevns klint, the blue water lake, Gribskov etc.) Any lesser-known, jaw-dropping places? Lol Thank you!!

You can reach Söderåsen by train+bus, about 1:20 from Malmö C. Search for "Skäralid Nationalparken" at skanetrafiken.se. Note that you change from train to bus in Stehag, and the Øresundståg don't stop there, so you have to change for a Pågatåg (local train) at Hyllie, Triangeln or Malmö C.

If you go by car via Helsingør, it's faster to get to Mölle than to Møns Klint.

Yeah, but the comment I replied mentions Skåne, which is the tip of Jylland. Fun fact: I’m looking at the lights of Mölle right now from the sea shore, hoping for a gap in clouds for the aurora to show.

That would probably be my no. 1 pick within a 2-3 hours drive from Copenhagen.

Not sure if it's jaw dropping level; but rowing in the Mølleåen/Furesø in Lyngby/Frederiksdal is pretty nice! You can rent a canoe/rowboat at https://maps.app.goo.gl/aEFakNqq4sb5YGNx8?g_st=ic.

Also, the areas around Knud Rasmussens Hus in Hundested, Gilbjerg Hoved near Gilleleje in the Northern coast and Sjælsø in Birkerød/Ravnsnæs are pretty lovely as well.

On the Swedish side, 'Kullaberg', 2 hours away by car, is a place with cliffs and caves where you can go on an actual hike

If you don't mind paying the bridge toll, Skåne has many amazing places close by, as well. Söderåsen, Traneröds Mosse, Dalby Söderskog, Kullen, Sandbergen, Stenshuvud...

Røsnæs is really lovely, lots of rolling hills, ocean, and a local herd of horses. I’ve found fossils on the beaches a few times.

Der er skjoldungestien som går fra Hvalsø til Roskilde og passerer igennem gl lejre. Hvis dine vandre-chops er gode kan den tages på een dag og hvis ikke kan mam sagtens nøjes med dele af ruten (eller tage en shelterovernatning på halvvejen). Det er en fin begyndervandrerute men er dog, som alle steder i DK, aldrig langt fra beboelse eller veje.

A bit of a drive (1 hour) but Nekselø in the summer is amazing. Its a very little island where you take a small fery from Havnsø. There is a lot of Nature and some few friendly inhabitants driving around in old jeeps and land rovers. Definitely go when there isn’t a lot of wind and when it’s sunny. Probably could even go to the beach there if you wanted. Just a great little place where the big world kinda seems out of reach.

Plus tourism is a minimum there. Probably not even 100 people visit a day in the summer months. And if you have a camera definitely bring it there is some good photo ops out there.

I really enjoy going for walks around Bidstrup Skovene, just north of Ringsted. Plenty of trails to follow. Fairly removed from roads as well so you may be fortunate and not hear any cars nearby.
