How is the bicycle infrastructure in NY these days? I saw a few videos from a few years back and it seemed to be getting quite good. Not like the transformation Paris is undergoing, but steady improvements nonetheless.
Are you talking about the streets with canals or parks on the side? Kinda strange to compare those with HC Andersens Boulevard.
I'm thinking maybe there's more to this story.
What wide roads? What are you referring to?
Whatever. I have doubts that you have even toured the area beyond Field's in the last 3-4 years. Most people with strong opinions on Ørestad really have no idea what the area is like these days, they just love a good circle jerk. 🤷♂️
Ørestad, especially the southern part, is very popular with families with children and people who like the access to nature. If you don't fit those profiles, maybe it just isn't for you.
It's no more expensive than elsewhere in Copenhagen.
Yes, this was truly a perfect storm of generic tourist questions.
Sounds more like luddite vandalism.
urban greenery
I basically agree with everything you wrote in your comments, but I feel like I should qualify this part.
Yes, Copenhagen seriously lacks some tree cover on the streets, but it does have quite a few green spaces, more than the average European city: https://www.eea.europa.eu/highlights/how-green-are-european-cities
Plus the bike must have a working bell too for it to be street legal. Horns do not fulfil that requirement.
I don't think it would be rude, but what would likely happen is that the Dane would be able to understand most of what you say, but you would understand very little of what the Dane says... and now you just ordered a thousand liters of milk.
There's a Sake shop on Jægersborggade.
There's no particular bias against French people here.
I don't think the bit about a temporary CPR is true.
Perhaps the order of events isn't. I just heard of people getting his before in the comments of r/copenhagen. This is what I was referring to: https://cpr.dk/borgere/kan-jeg-faa-et-personnummer
Someone asked a very similar question yesterday: https://www.reddit.com/r/copenhagen/comments/1crmxwg/pick_up_and_drop_off_parcel_services/
Or maybe that was you too...?
You pay in advance (aconto) and then you will get money back or pay more based on your actual usage over time.
And alongside the lakes too, for similar reasons.
It depends on whether you want to choose the institution yourself. You are guaranteed a spot if you don't want to choose yourselves. But usually børnehave isn't difficult to get anyway, it's the vuggestue that can have long waiting lists for some of the popular institutions.
How quickly does one get a spot in a kindergarten?
