I got plenty in mind...like Jack Nicholson in The Shining. His descent into madness as Jack Torrance was both terrifying and mesmerizing especially for the time the movie went out. I can't imagine this movie without Nicholson!
Same for Anthony Hopkins’ as Hannibal Lecter...He turns what could have been a straightforward villain into a charismatic, chilling character who steals every scene he’s in.
Who do you think transformed their horror role into something truly exceptional?
Kathy Bates as Annie Wilkes in the movie Misery. She was a revelation.
Christian Bale as Patrick Bateman in American Psycho. He played it a little too well.
Michael Rooker as Henry in Henry, Portrait of a Serial Killer. Again, almost seemed like he played it too well.
