Basically chew like a cow 😭 but you get used to them and figure out how to eat. They haven’t stopped me yet of trying to eat anything
Better at 18, teeth will move quicker when you’re younger! I’m 23 got them on a month ago, no one cares. End result will make you more attractive at least lol
Yes sometimes I’ll put a dab of toothpaste on the proxy brushes. Especially when I’m out and can’t really get the little bits of food out.
Otherwise I swish with water, then brush after eating and it gets 90% of everything 🤷🏾♀️
Wisps are a good option! They’re mini toothbrushes for travel. Keep some and a bottle of water by your bed, on bad days. Like others have said mouthwash and waterpiks help as well!
Eating everything, had a bracket break on a crown because they used the wrong bond (not my fault 🤷🏾♀️)
You can call and ask 30mins isn’t long, plus you’re out of money when they’ll give them free. I’ve heard sometimes they’ll snail mail them to you even.
A combination of chewing like a cow with my mouth open and using my tongue to mash food up. I eat anything and everything
Feeding the true instinct venison and turkey, as well as the wet food line (ground). My boy seems to like it quite well because it has morsels in it. I’d try and see if they prefer the cheaper option
Yes I have little tiny holes in my yard because he does this. He’s full pei and looks for moles, bunnies, squirrels, you name it he’s looking for it. I can always tell because his feet will be caked with dirt and his thick snoot lol
Probably ate them 😂 but like other said 4mos -6. You’ll maybe find blood stains on a toy before you see a tooth lol
I second this. I rotate every bag so he doesn’t get bored. Salmon/duck, beef, turkey he eats grain in because he doesn’t have an allergy, so we buy off chewy.
I didn’t choose this breed it so happened. And honestly I really like the breed, they’re unique and not a dog that you see everyday. Very independent but, clingy enough to wonder what you’re up to. My boy usually lays around me and can be fine. He needs one 20-30min walk and is all out of gas. He can be playful, but again his tank will go empty and it’s nap time. Not a cuddler, I don’t mind he’ll let me pet and snuggle on his time. I would say very cat-dog like. A walking vet bill but, I’m lucky my guy hasn’t really had too many this far, he’s only 2. Stubborn and will have attitude! The amount of times he sighs and huffs at me is astronomical 😭😭 definitely not a breed for everyone!

My boy is a wimp. He hides under me because he hates going, I always offer to hold him because I have experience with animal care and restraint. But they always say no because he’s never made a fuss and they’ve been seeing him since a pup, really little.
I had this girl at the pet store be wary of him because she was attacked by one when she worked as a vet assistant and had visible scars. But I helped assure her that he’s okay and came in multiple times for her to pet him.
Yup, big lazy. My boy sleeps all day goes outside to watch the yard and will sleep on his outside bed even until something happens. He’ll bark, snort, whatever and go lay back down. 30min walk? Pooped for the rest of the day, it’s like he’s constantly on a charging station for a small burst of energy. He gets zoomies here and there but that burst of energy kills the battery lol. He also doesn’t really care to cuddle, but likes his butt scratched once in a while and will tell you when he’s had enough.
My pei will bark at thunderstorms not at fireworks. But will stay alert to both and get a little antsy checking the doors and making sure everyone is okay. But will sleep through them. He’s a little odd 🥴
I had it looked at and a guy said everything was good, but apparently it’s not??? I plus in the power supply and turn it on but the only lights are from my motherboard nothing else. I’m thinking I’m missing something but idk send help 🥲
My mom made thanksgiving sides. Candied yams, dressing, macNcheese, cranberry sauce. Made me feel like I was eating normal even though it was all soft foods.
Yeah, the teenage phase is the longest up to 2 years for bigger dogs. Sometimes even 3years for like big big dogs (Great Danes). I still would check for uri though to be on safe side though
Eggs, oatmeal, pancakes, canned fruit, applesauce, mashed potato, Mac n cheese,etc.
