Can’t bite down all the way!

You can’t bite down all the way because you have those blue bite blockers, I’m assuming this is for an overbite. As your jaw changes, it will be easier to chew food. Until then soft foods

I hated the bite blocks. Mine got to the point where after 8 months they were uneven (I’d hit the left side then my teeth would sort of slide over to central). I was worried there was something wrong with me. Ortho removed the bite blocks and my bite was perfect.

I have bite blocks as well on my upper molars and I have to say, you do get used to the feeling and chewing! I’ve had my braces for less than a month now and it’s already feeling normal.

I have them too. It has been 6 weeks. They are distracting but I am getting used to them. Mine are on top.

I have them at the bottom as well but they cover the entire tooth. It was rough the first week. Now I don’t even notice them. It’s been six months :)

Basically chew like a cow 😭 but you get used to them and figure out how to eat. They haven’t stopped me yet of trying to eat anything

I had bite blocks on my upper molars throughout the first year. At first it was so weird and I never felt like I chewed anything fully, but after a couple months I got used to them. Just last month they removed the bite blocks from my molars and put them BEHIND MY TWO FRONT TEETH and it is so weird.

I also have bite blockers, when i first got them i started to sob while eating because of how uncomfortable and weird that was 💀 now Im used to it
