No... You can get braces at any age, as long as your Teeth and Bones can handle the stresses of being moved. I would advise getting them earlier than later, if you need more intense therapies like Headgear or Expanders.

About attractiveness: I first thought I was ugly with them on, but as I got used to them, I started to believe they made me look cute, lmao. You’ll get over that feeling :)

Plenty of us here are more than twice your age. You have plenty of time to be attractive and a girl worth your time won't be so shallow to be put off by braces.

I got mine last week and I just turned 25. I’m really insecure about my teeth and smile so I decided to get braces. 😅

The earlier, the better! Taking care of your health is the utmost priority. If you are able to (financially, mentally, etc), I would encourage you to get them now. I’m sure the payoff will be worth it. I got mine at 23, and yes, I am self conscious about it, but this is officially the youngest I will ever be moving forward—the time will fly, and this is an investment for a lifetime!

Just got them again at 28. I bet girls will like that you are taking care of yourself, and in a few years you will be glad you did it.

I advise against Invisalign, I’ve had many people I know get them and be in them WAY longer than braces with not as perfect results.

Im 37 and just got mine on again (had em as a teen, straightened my teeth but didnt fix my bite). Ill be having surgery halfway through, but it will fix a slant issue I have been self-concious about since I was a teen. I'm pretty frickin stoked to be better-looking for the end of my 30s and into my 40s - the only better thing would have been if I could have gotten this handled for my 20s!! Gah! You won't regret it once you are done!
