I have a sharpei mix. Don’t know what else he’s mixed with. He’s always good goes outside sleeps in his kennel at night. When he whines I wake up and take him out. He’s almost a year old now and the past two weeks he just keeps randomly peeing in our apartment. I went to the bathroom today he was hanging out with me and then he just walks out and pees like it’s nothing on the floor 🤦♀️. Some days he does good other days it happens. I’ve taken him out more. I’ve limited his water again and have no clue what it is. I don’t think it’s something I need to take him to the vet for since it’s not constant but it just keeps happening randomly. It happened twice last week and once this week.
I took him to the vet. Everything came back fine. Said it could possibly just be a behavioral thing since he’s getting older.
Mine was naughty until about the age of 2. Used to run up to other dogs and everything and would not recall. Now she doesn’t even bat an eyelid if another dog walks past (she’s 5) loool

Wow nothing just a random question as I didn’t know people used kennels
We use crates for our dogs when we can’t keep a eye on them so they don’t get into things when we’re not looking or gone but that’s it.
Fair enough sorry lol I wasn’t meaning to sound snotty or anything loool I’m lucky with mine she used to chew things up as a puppy but now she couldn’t care less lol
Also she is yet to be neutered next month still and she is 5
I don’t leave them in a kennel outside. That’s inhumane.
Yeah, the teenage phase is the longest up to 2 years for bigger dogs. Sometimes even 3years for like big big dogs (Great Danes). I still would check for uri though to be on safe side though
