I've already passed my state exam and working on getting my license! I'm in training with them and so far, everything I've researched shows they're a legit good company to work with. I prefer being independent so this works best for me!

My brain glitching out and not remembering things.

One issue with this is: moms are utterly exhausted by the end of the night. It's not always easy to do anything more after kids are asleep except veg out or fall asleep yourself. Yes, it can be done and has been done, but it's not ideal or realistic.

Mine are the same but I can't afford to have them surgically removed. And one is laying on a nerve. I'd like to have the use of my face/jaw.

I'd have to pay out of pocket and that isn't a possibility right now, but I will definitely keep this in mind for when my finances improve. I'm not diabetic or prediabetic.

No, it isn't, And there's really no perfect solution. But that's one way to at least eliminate one problem.

ADHD Refund!! Success/Celebration

Not sure if it was in this sub, or another ADHD sub, but someone this week talked about sharing when we get a refund versus paying ADHD tax.

My 29F daughter who has ADHD (like me) lost $200 cash a few weeks ago. Has no idea where she put it. Was freaking out because she had also been doing a massive clean out in her house and thought she trashed it.

She found it today! Of course being distracted, she put it somewhere she normally doesn't put it and just happened across it. The universe smiled upon her today and I'm so glad!!

I'm 47f, scheduled for one next month but I have reactive hypoglycemia. I have no idea how I'm going to handle the fasting.

I'm 47f and consistently getting high cholesterol/triglycerides and blood platelets. I'm also overweight. Not prediabetic thankfully! I eat a whole foods plant-based diet with some lean meats. I exercise 3-5 times a week for an hour each time. Nothing is budging. I have an appointment with a hematologist soon. It's very frustrating because I am like you, completely aware that we're about to hit the 50 mark and I WANT TO BE A HEALTHY adult until I die. Preferably at a very old age, still active and vibrant.

Edited to add: I have PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome) which is a main contributor to all of the above. There's no cure, only maintenance. If anyone here has achieved weight loss/improved triglycerides with PCOS, I'm all ears!!

I've been through this myself, I do understand that she'll still have a hard time as a single mother. But mentally, dropping the dead weight of a man child will lessen that feeling. I'm also a stress management coach for parents and caregivers in extreme situations,. I've spoken with and coached quite a few women in these situations who all tell me they felt so much better leaving a dead weight even with the difficulty of single parenthood. Either way is hard, but in this, she gets to choose her hard.

She already is doing it alone. She'll be so much happier without the dead weight.

He knows. He just doesn't want to do it. Weaponized incompetence.

I've noticed this when I'm at the allergist twice a week for my allergy shots. The restrooms are right next to the waiting area and you can hear the flush. Then 2 seconds later they walk out. The Boomers do it too, men and women.

Stop lending money. Take care of your own things!

YTA. I nearly left my husband over a very similar situation. My whole life revolved around his needs, his wants, his friends. Any time I tried to have anything on my own, I'd get nothing but pouting, moping, and him telling me my place was with him and the kids.

He actually changed his tune when I had enough and started to leave. We're 26 years in BECAUSE he recognized that I need and deserve my independence too. Marriage counseling would probably help you deal with this change together.

I am usually rarely bitten by mosquitoes. They are constantly on me this year!
