Appreciation post: Zach grown so much as a person and creative, and I'm so happy to see Keith and Eugene thriving in their respective projects 💙💚💜Discussion

I have actually stopped watching the Try Guys regularly save for some Eat the Menu and Try Wives episodes, but one thing I noticed is that Zach has grown so much from 4-5 years ago. He now seems more confident and overall exudes such positive vibes. It terms of appearance, he also looks so much better with his hair and fashion sense. He has always said that his work is mostly behind-the-scenes, and I just appreciate how he never steals the limelight from the other Try Guys and is like the glue that holds everyone together. I truly have more respect for him now especially when he said that he was like the captain of the ship in handling this controversy (based on what he said from the most recent podcast)

Also, I'm so happy to see Keith and Eugene thriving as well in their respective personal projects. They've always been so talented and there is so much more in store for them apart from being a Try Guy.

There's nowhere to go but up for these three.

I am looking forward to watching their new content from now on.

As for Ned, I'm so deeply disappointed in him and how he negatively affected his company, friends, and family. I am still dumbfounded as to how he managed to have an affair that risked everything he had.

A suggestion: Perhaps we could treat this subreddit as if the 2nd Try team is reading this 💙💜💚Discussion

I actually doubt that they would even take the time to read the threads here, but I just thought that it would be good for this subreddit to not only be a safe space for fans, but also a safe space for the Zach, Keith, Eugene, and the rest of the team as well.

As Eugene has said, “Please exercise kindness.”

As they are taking the time to personally move on from this, and create even more meaningful content moving forward, I hope this subreddit can also become a more positive and uplifting space for everyone. 💚💙💜

Feeling anxious about the next TryPod episodeSerious

I can’t stop thinking about what their next statement would be, how they would execute their next steps, and how the overall atmosphere would feel like. I wonder if it will be awkward and sad, or whether they will handle everything with professionalism and grace, in front of the camera. I sincerely hope it will be the latter.

UPDATE: a kind man found my Reddit post - he helped me claim the luggage from the police station and ship it to my hotel via DHL. I am utterly floored by his kindness. Also, this is the first time I reached out for help on Reddit, and I am so amazed by this community. So so grateful, and I aim to be more mindful of my things when traveling next time 🙏🏻

I’m a Filipino living in Taiwan! 🥰🇹🇼

I unfollowed Home Buddies because so many people are blatantly humble-bragging on this page and it's so cringey to me :( I'd rather find home and decor inspiration elsewhere.

I truly appreciate Eugene taking the time to explain his very busy schedule in spite of his very busy schedule. Always so classy and never fails to deliver.

I do hope she’ll come back. She always has so many valuable insights at YVSWU and she’s just a breath of fresh air whenever I hear her voice. 🥺 Her fans will definitely welcome her with open arms if she does.

This is so crazy. The moderators ought to block this person for the sake of this community.

Makes sense. This Broadway video could be the baseline for lower caps titled videos. Let's see how it goes :)

As an optimist myself, I find myself agreeing with this post, as much as it is a quite a hot take. While it is indeed truly devastating for all this controversy to happen, the silver lining is that the Try Guys get a chance to rebrand and reintroduce themselves to the world, especially as it seems that their subscribers and view counts have been plateauing recently. I just really want to look at the bright side from all of this, without discounting the actual betrayal of trust and ruined relationships that have occurred. I simply hope for a brighter and better future for the people affected by this drama, and that they get to move forward and grow to be better people from all of this.

Edit: Hi Zach! In case you're reading this – you're truly awesome and keep up the wonderful work!

I feel that it's intentional, as they probably notice that writing titles in lowercase, as with their recent Trypod entitled "ok, let's talk about it” and the “what happened.” video got significantly more likes. They are likely testing whether the small caps title would truly elicit more views.

It's good that a lot of people are finally calling out SNL. Hopefully they learn to be more mindful of future sketches moving forward.Discussion

I hope that once more and more people realize how problematic their sketch of the Try Guys is, SNL will eventually find it in themselves to be more respectful and mindful of the content they put out, and find ways to create a good show without making fun of serious real-life issues that are out of line. We all get that SNL is about comedy and entertainment, but they could do it without degrading or dehumanizing the emotions and stories of actual people.

Oh wow such good eye; I'm sure not a lot of people know about these new Tiktok accounts. It would likely take some more time for the team to get everything back in order, but once things are settling down, I'm confident they will eventually find time to create content for these new accounts. Let's just continue to support them and engage with the content they

I watched the first 10 seconds and closed the video. It's too cringey to me and just absolutely unbearable to watch.

An unethical workplace affair that has put an entire company at risk, negatively affected a marriage, friendships, and relationships are not “silly little nothings”. It is not simply a “coworker cheating on his wife”. It is a betrayal of trust, of friendship, of a thing they built from the ground up since they started about 8 years ago. It almost cost them their entire careers and that of the 2nd Try LLC employees. It should not be a shameful thing if the remaining Try Guys are truly traumatized by this. We don't know exactly what they feeling or going through right now.

That tweet is so insensitive. What a terrible take.

Omg yes! I think I stopped watching the Try Guys regularly at the same time when Ned started growing out his beard (not intentional). That was around 2020 I think. I really didn't get to see the progression of how he became more and more arrogant in recent years. The stark change in personality that I failed to gradually witness has what made this controversy even more shocking.

I totally agree. It would also be a more difficult test of ethics and friendship if this alternate scenario happened. How to respond as friends and co-founders in this case is less clear because it is more of a personal matter than a company issue.

For the record, I think that it is incredibly sneaky of Ned if he intentionally made his statement seem coordinated with the Try Guys – both statements have a black sans serif text on white background, BUT the fonts used are technically different. Just look at the 'g's and 'a's.

Just wanted to point it out for a fact. This doesn't minimize Ned's unethical behavior and his statement sounded like an insincere non-apology to me. I also initially thought the statements were coordinated 😐
