I'd rather it suck and learn to love and indulge in new things or old things occasionally as a treat, than to lose a limb or eyesight to diabetes. I'm 49 and been eating donuts and cake and pasta for 40+ years which got me here. Now it's about longevity to me, not 5 min or mouth pleasure. I eliminated all carbs except veggies since Feb as well. One day a week I'll have a little something but most times now I don't even crave it anymore. Focus on what you can have rather than what got you here. My 2 cents anyways, Good luck !!
