X100VI ordering, shipment, and delays - consolidated sticky thread #4Discussion
Post all your comments about X100VI ordering, stock levels, shipment times, and delays here.

I made a new sticky thread to make it easier to read new comments and to search for information. As threads get unwieldy and long, I've created new threads. See the previous posts #1 here, #2 here, and #3 here.

/u/More-Ad-906 created an unofficial Google Doc for tracking the status of B&H's waitlist here.

"Once you add your row just click on the first column and sort A-Z"

See the previous post for various updates from B&H, Amazon, Best Buy, other retailers, and international retailers in Canada, Germany, UK, and beyond.

Feeling of Sony vs Fuji Discussion

I've had my XT5 for almost a year now. I have a love hate relationship with it, primarily due to how disappointing the autofocus is. My last camera was a Canon DSLR from back in 2010 - which I feel was more reliable than my XT5 in terms of autofocus. Anywho, I've been considering switching to Sony because of this.

However, I went into a shop to check out the a7iv and a7cii today. When I picked them up I was immediately struck by how it felt to hold them - it sounds weird to say, but they felt completely lifeless - from simply holding it, to pressing the shutter button, to turning the zoom. No soul at all.

Holding and using my XT5 feels great, even though the green box lies to me every time I try to take a picture of a person's face. It betrays me always, but actually using it feels amazing.

Folks that have used Sony - is this a common feeling, does it always feel like that? Am I crazy for considering switching?
