Thanks for your input. I am getting married two days before leaving and so it doesn’t really leave much time for worrying 😁 we’re just going to have to wait and see what happens and hopefully get on a flight the next day if it fails!

I would only worry if air traffic control went on strike. As long as my plane comes in I really have no worries haha. After more research, it seems that most times there’s a long strike air traffic control doesn’t end up going through with it so it should all be good.

As for the train, it was my original plan to take the metro into city center but probably will just arrange a pickup directly to the hotel so that there’s no worries there.

We did the late dining recently on independence and we were able to go to the early shows and dinner after. It was pretty easy and I think they schedule all the shows so that both dining times can have options.

Our cake is going to be around $1000 for ~200 ppl

I’ve seen people recommend it both ways. Museum first or Acropolis first. Honestly I think I might find the museum more interesting and get more out of it if I actually see it first.

Do you have a specific tour you recommend? Is the audio tour offered at the museum any good?

I’ve never been but also going in May and we’re doing a tour. I think both would be enjoyable but I think it boils down the how adventurous you’re looking to be. Renting your own boat will definitely be more work and more stressful imo. Whereas a tour would allow you to lay back and relax and take it all in, food and drinks included. I’ve also heard many great reviews for all of the kleftiko tours. But I think it all just comes down to what type of excursion you’re looking for.

Tickets for summer months were just released today. My assumption is that they couldn’t figure out a good system to abandon the combo tickets in time and ended up releasing the tickets. It still appears to be the same combo ticket options

Also honeymooning in May and I think I’m leaning towards soil!

Tickets are available for April today! But nothing past that yet.

We get to pick 3! A chocolate with ho ho cream, an Oreo with Oreo mousse and a strawberry swirl with strawberry mousse! Something for everyone I think

I’ve also tried to do some research, it seems that maybe they’re changing how the ticket system is going to work (no more combo tickets??) come April so maybe that’s why they’re delayed in releasing the tickets? Going in May and also hoping they get it figured out soon 😁

Does everyone who gets a drink package get one?

This happened to me with all 3 hotels I booked lol. I just emailed them and they ended up charging it or telling me when it would be charged. Some of the island hotels are operating differently in the off season.
