This is true, I hadn't thought about that. You can buy Gammamon separately from the Digivice but I don't think you can buy Impulse City outside of the bundle with the Vital Hero.

The Digivice V and Vital Bracelet are identical in size. I unscrewed the band adapters on my Digivice V and reattached then on my Vital Hero, no problem.

To be honest, I think they're pretty much the same. So I would recommend getting the cheapest/fastest shipping, or else getting the one with the best Dim for you.

The Vital Hero Dims are combinations of either the Agumon and Mad Black Roar dims (Red Band), or Gabumon and the True Shadow Howl (Blue Band). So if you have access and interest to buy the dims for Agumon and Mad Black Roar or Gabumon and True Shadow Howl, it's probably not worth it to buy the red or blue Vital Hero for the dim. If you don't have access to those, the Vital hero might be a good way to get a mix of one of the two.

The black band Vital Hero has Impulse city, I think, and Impulse city is fun.

The Digivice V has Gammamon, also fun.

Band adapters attach to the place where the band attaches, and then you can attach separate watch bands to the adapters. So, you remove the original bands, add the band adapters to the Digivice, then put whatever watch band you want on the adapters. You just need to make sure the band matches the size of the adapter (i.e. 22mm or etc). I use the band adapters + cheap watch bands I bought from Amazon.

Side-note: I have no idea whether the hardware is the same or not between the Vital Hero and the Digivice V. The software/menus/features are exactly the same, however, with maybe a word or two more in English on the Vital Hero.

Edit: Another difference is that the Vital Hero has a longer band, so it's more likely to fit your wrist. You can buy replacement bands or band adapters on Etsy, though, if the Digivice V's band isn't long enough.

The Digivice V and the Vital Hero are basically the same. There was a bit of confusion before they came out because the Vital Hero has the same icon on it that the original vital bracelet had, but the software on the Vital Hero is pretty much identical to the Digivice V.

I had the Digivice V since December 2021, but one of the buttons broke recently, so I bought the Vital Hero because I could get it cheaper/faster and get a new Dim card with it. There are maybe one or two Japanese words in the Digivice V, but you don't need to know them to use it. The menu words are actually mostly in English, even on the Digivice V. So I'd get whichever one between the Digivice V and Vital Hero that you could receive cheaper or faster, or else whichever has the Dim card you want.

So it depends on which version of the Digimon watch you have. If you have the original version you won't be able to sleep the digimon manually--the digimon will just go to sleep at a certain time of night. On that version of the watch the timer does not count down while sleeping.

On the Digivice V (the second model) or the Vital Hero (the English localized version), you put your Digimon to sleep by pressing the A and B buttons (the top and bottom buttons on the right). On these models, and on the coming BE model, the timer does count down while sleeping. Your digimon won't gain or lose any vitals whole sleeping, so sleep is a very useful mode on those two versions.

Primeval Warriors and MBR/TSH are both great. Primeval Warriors is rarer and has unique insect-like designs that don't look like any of the other dims, and it has the hardest hitting Vaccine Mega, so if you can only get one, I'd go for that one.

Ancient Warriors has some crossover with Primeval Warriors. If you can get it cheaply, it's a fun one, but I don't think it's necessarily worth it otherwise.

For other Premium Bandai dims, The GP ones are the rarest and quite expensive, and are mostly covered by other dims. (Renamon is better than Renamon GP, etc). Monodramon GP was popular for a bit because it used to have the hardest hitting Vaccine Mega, but Primeval Warriors now has the better one, so I don't think the GP ones worth chasing.

For future Premium Bandai exclusives, the tamer set EX3 Digital Frontier dims look great (Agnimon, Fairimon, Chackmon, Wolfmon, Blitzmon, Louwemon). I have those preordered from Zenin. If you are interested in those, I'd recommend preordering them to make sure you get them before they release and become hard to get.

I have ordered multiple Dim cards from Zenin and I recieved all of them. They usually take a while to get here, though. I live in the USA, and if the release is in March, I get the Dims in my mailbox in May. They always come, though, and Zenin usually has the lowest price I've seen.

Amazon JP does ship Dim cards quite a bit faster (and the price is low, too). Once shipped, it takes about two days to get from Japan to my mailbox. However Amazon JP doesn't sell the Premium Bandai exclusives, so I buy all of the PB exclusives from Zenin.

Yes, this is correct. I have a linked Bandai account, and the digimon moved over without any problems when I upgraded my phone.

If you have the Digivice V or the Vital Hero bracelet: if you are able to get in the right vitals zone, you can sleep it until the timer runs out to keep it from gaining/losing vitals.

(This doesn't work with the original vital bracelet because the timer doesn't count down during sleep in that version).

I didn't know you could deny the evolution. That is very helpful info. Thanks!

Ryudamon and Espimon: how do I get 1200 vital values on Stage II?

I recieved my Ryudamon and Espimon Dim cards from Amazon jp today (Hooray!). There are two Rookie stages--this is the first time I've seen that on a Dim card--and I see I need to get 1200 or more vital values on the Stage II child to get the armored Rookie. How do I get that many vital values if I can't add vitality in app during Stage II or fight during Stage II?

Yes, I have seen some in the app. One of the other commenters said that it has come out on Premium Bandai, so that accounts for that. Maybe it will come out in the other retailers on March 31st, though!

If your watch doesn't fit right, you can get watch band adapters from Etsy, and then put on watch bands that fit.

Humulos has great guides to using the Digivice V, and on how to get them evolved. (Google Humulos and Digivice V, and you'll find it). I highly recommend checking that out!

Have fun! Best of luck.

Is Primeval Warriors Dim Card Out Yet?

Is the Dim card for Primeval Warriors out yet? And if not, do we know when it will release? I had originally heard that it would release in March, but haven't seen anything since.

I've been checking Amazon.jp and etc for a while, and I'm partially just wondering if I'm using the right search terms for it, since the translations of the names aren't always the same (i.e. how some of Guilmon's Megas can be called either Gallantmon or Dukemon, depending on the source).

Yes, like others have said, you can get strap replacements on Etsy. I bought Watch Band Adapters from both SezzysLittleShop and Erodbuilds (for my husband and my Digivice Vs), which replace the connector between the watch and bands so that you can put whatever straps on it that you want. We then bought watch bands from Amazon. You can get whatever material for the bands that way, it just has to match the size of the adapter you bought (i.e. 22mm or etc).

The band adapters from both sellers were comparable, though I think SezzysLittleShop sent them faster to us. (You'll also need a small screwdriver to be able to take the little screws out and to put the adapters on. I forget what size screwdriver I used.)

You have to transfer your digimon that has completed the Stage 15 into the app so that the app knows you have completed it. If your digimon dies, and you haven't transferred it into the app, it won't store the fact that you've completed Stage 15. Once the app knows that you've completed Stage 15, then any impulse city that has been transferred in and out of the app will now know that the Stage 15 is cleared.

My husband had an Ancient Warriors digimon who hit Stage 15 but then died, and so it didn't store the fact that he had cleared it even when the egg hatched again. It had stored his earlier progress--up to Stage 12--from when he had last transferred it to the app. So I recommend transferring your digimon back and forth occasionally to save your stage progress.

You can tell if the app has the Stage 15 unlocked by going to the Log section in the app and selecting your profile (the person icon). Under the details about your name, tamer level, and etc, it will list all of the Digimon you have. The icon next to the Digimon will be in color if you have unlocked Stage 15 for it.

That's happened to me a couple of times on this particular raid boss. I don't know why.

I agree with the information here, Amazon Japan has great prices and it ships really fast. (I live in the USA, for context). I bought both my V2 bracelet and several Dim cards on it.

Ahh, I see. I just now noticed from the announcements screen on the app that they seem to come out about once a month. That is helpful, thanks!

Yes, like Droid990 said, you can start a battle by tapping your phone to the Vital Bracelet. I have found that the phone needs to be unlocked for it to work, and the Vital Bracelet needs to lit up as well (as in, press any button so the screen lights up, as opposed to being black). The NFC place seems to be at the top of my phone. Once you click it, a "Warning" sign will pop up, and when you click a side button, the watch will show you the opponent. If the opponent is higher level/etc, you can run away by pressing the bottom right button for a while.

If you have friends/family who also have a Vital Bracelet, you can use the VS card to take one digimon out of the watch and fight the other. (If the digimon gets lost in between, it will reappear on your watch again after 10 mins).

You can't wake up your digimon if you have the original watch, except by haxing it by changing the clock in the settings. Some digimon wake up at 10 AM, some at 8 PM. If you check out the humulos digimon guide, click on a evolution and it will say at the bottom of at what time they wake up. I haven't needed to change the date, I only change the clock time.

How do you get into raids?

I finally received my vital bracelet earlier this week, and I love it. I've managed to find answers to all my questions online except this one: how do you get into a raid? I have raid tickets, but there isn't an option to join one in the VB lab app. Does your Digimon need to be fully evolved to the Ultimate tier for it to become an option? Or is there something else I need to do?

Thanks!
