Ordered the Digivice V but need to know about the JPN vers

The Digivice V and the Vital Hero are basically the same. There was a bit of confusion before they came out because the Vital Hero has the same icon on it that the original vital bracelet had, but the software on the Vital Hero is pretty much identical to the Digivice V.
I had the Digivice V since December 2021, but one of the buttons broke recently, so I bought the Vital Hero because I could get it cheaper/faster and get a new Dim card with it. There are maybe one or two Japanese words in the Digivice V, but you don't need to know them to use it. The menu words are actually mostly in English, even on the Digivice V. So I'd get whichever one between the Digivice V and Vital Hero that you could receive cheaper or faster, or else whichever has the Dim card you want.
Side-note: I have no idea whether the hardware is the same or not between the Vital Hero and the Digivice V. The software/menus/features are exactly the same, however, with maybe a word or two more in English on the Vital Hero.
Edit: Another difference is that the Vital Hero has a longer band, so it's more likely to fit your wrist. You can buy replacement bands or band adapters on Etsy, though, if the Digivice V's band isn't long enough.

Band adapters attach to the place where the band attaches, and then you can attach separate watch bands to the adapters. So, you remove the original bands, add the band adapters to the Digivice, then put whatever watch band you want on the adapters. You just need to make sure the band matches the size of the adapter (i.e. 22mm or etc). I use the band adapters + cheap watch bands I bought from Amazon.
These are band adapters: https://www.etsy.com/listing/974497280/vital-bracelet-watch-band-adapter?click_key=eb49a0a0cda97d886ab71486fefdbc1744712395%3A974497280&click_sum=775e8112&ref=pla_sameshop_listing_top-1&frs=1&sts=1
As the other person said, you unscrew the band it came with, screw these plastic adapters to where the original band was, and then attach any actual watch strap. The adapters have that kinda hinge that watch bands are attached to so you actually use a real watch band. Any kind will work as long as it’s the right size.
Personally I just used the one in the adapter bundle until the plastic loop at the end of one side of the strap fell off and I couldn’t find it, I so just switched back to my regular extended strap and got a $5 retainer which is a plastic loop that goes around the peg and hole where the watch clips on, so it basically just holds it on.
This is the one I used for a while. Oh my god it was great. Almost the exact share of blue as the original and it’s a true watch strap and it comes with the adapters. Good times with that strap: https://www.etsy.com/listing/1125687703/vital-bracelet-watch-band-adapter-watch?gbraid=0AAAAADtcfRJU00d65scCpdv4s1pMg3Enf&gpla=1&gao=1&&utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=shopping_us_-jewelry&utm_custom1=_k_EAIaIQobChMI4smplOvD-QIVWR-tBh3a1wMpEAQYASABEgJuVPD_BwE_k_&utm_content=go_12665398257_121762925993_511610210343_pla-295491029933_m__1125687703_12768591&utm_custom2=12665398257&gbraid=0AAAAADtcfRJU00d65scCpdv4s1pMg3Enf&gclid=EAIaIQobChMI4smplOvD-QIVWR-tBh3a1wMpEAQYASABEgJuVPD_BwE
Also here is the retainer in case you are interested in your bracelet not coming undone all the time: https://www.etsy.com/listing/989863611/vital-brace-strap-retainer?ga_order=most_relevant&ga_search_type=all&ga_view_type=gallery&ga_search_query=vital+bracelet+retainer&ref=sc_gallery-1-1&bes=1&plkey=ed54bbdf4c16de86333c451a13b6a1cc2adc6d1b%3A989863611
And sorry about the super long links. I don’t know how to shorten them. :/

To be honest, I think they're pretty much the same. So I would recommend getting the cheapest/fastest shipping, or else getting the one with the best Dim for you.
The Vital Hero Dims are combinations of either the Agumon and Mad Black Roar dims (Red Band), or Gabumon and the True Shadow Howl (Blue Band). So if you have access and interest to buy the dims for Agumon and Mad Black Roar or Gabumon and True Shadow Howl, it's probably not worth it to buy the red or blue Vital Hero for the dim. If you don't have access to those, the Vital hero might be a good way to get a mix of one of the two.
The black band Vital Hero has Impulse city, I think, and Impulse city is fun.
The Digivice V has Gammamon, also fun.
Yeah personally I’m not interested in the new AguGabu. It feels like they just removed everything that wasn’t a direct part of the Agu and Gabu lines. What happened to all the unique Digimon that look like they could never come from a yellow dinosaur who spits fire?
For dinosaur roar they only have 3 Digimon on the whole card that aren’t part of Agumon’s canon line, and there’s only 4 Digimon on the new Garurumon dim that aren’t direct canon lines. Like they took everything interesting away and it made all about those two Digimon specifically when they already have two whole cards each. 3 each if you count the original Roar and Howl. :c

The Digivice V and Vital Bracelet are identical in size. I unscrewed the band adapters on my Digivice V and reattached then on my Vital Hero, no problem.
Digivice V has Gammamon who is the extra most bestest cutie bootie in Digimon who is only out cuted by the best Digimon, Gomamon.
But honestly you can buy the Gammamon dim separately for like $10 last I checked. They sold it separately. I wish they would’ve done that for other bracelet dim bundles like the Vmon card.
This is true, I hadn't thought about that. You can buy Gammamon separately from the Digivice but I don't think you can buy Impulse City outside of the bundle with the Vital Hero.
