I've recently made the mistake of moving my mobile phone contract to iD mobile. Their account management system makes being a customer a nightmare; I need my working phone number to activate my account, I need an account to activate my sim. on top of that 2/3 sims I have been sent have not worked.

I am paying for a regular pay monthly contract, set to last two years but as of yet I have not been able to use at all.

I have wasted hours of my life trying to work with their customer service and their system to fix this issue but they don't seem able to fix it, I won't go into it here unless somebody feels it relevant.

As I, not a lawyer, see it: they have failed to provide the service I've paid for and so I would not necessarily be "cancelling out of period" as defined in my contract, as their customer service has claimed and so wouldn't be subject to the normal cancellation conditions.

What are my rights as a customer/what are my possible future actions?
