Other affected couples will probably be years away from a settlement. So far Cooper has acknowledged the issue and SO FAR reimbursement has been financially adequate.

Cut to looks of astonishment on everyone's face. Rick looks like he's been stabbed in the back. We as an audience can't even believe what we are hearing. The honesty floods back into the show. We somehow regain a little respect for what's happening on screen. Cut back to Marty:

"It's over fellas... It's over"

Cut back to reserved looks of acceptance washing over everyone's face.

Cut to drone shots overlooking and flying away from the island with a final narration:
