He retired a few months ago. Hasn’t been replaced to my knowledge, so now BC is even more underrepresented.
I don’t hate the character, I just hate how lazy the betrayal was. I saw it coming from almost the minute he was introduced, even the why if it, the only surprise was the Jedi-ness of it all.

However, it’s also perfectly reasonable for her to want to cancel outright and not reschedule.
My advice as someone who’s had to cancel many dates for similar reasons, don’t even try to reschedule until you feel like you’re able to. Most people will forgive one cancellation, a lot fewer will forgive two.

Sounds like you’ve done a lot to help him and he hasn’t done his fair share to return that kindness, so getting upset is perfectly reasonable.

Asking someone to dumb down their play is not cool.
However, A couple of solutions that’ve worked for me in similar situations is to 1) play cooperative or team games (e.g. Ladies and Gentlemen) 2) playing games that can be balanced through the meta (e.g. cosmic encounters allows players to gang up on someone who is winning) 3) Find games in a style that he doesn’t dominate and occasionally play those.
YTA. Being roommates is a shared arrangement, and choosing someone to live with her without getting permission in advance and her input is not acceptable. She needs to be able to get the person to ensure she’ll feel safe and comfortable living with them before they move in.
I’ll second Bangkok. There were a few cool temples, but you could easily knock those out in a day and move on.
I had a much better time in the Southern islands and in Chiang Mai and northern Thailand.

Plus the whole “Wouldn’t you take the chance to help people” is a bullshit argument. Like the options are either “introduce an invasive species and help people” or “don’t introduce invasive species and let people suffer.” Maybe helping people without destroying the local biome would be a better option?
I’m not certain you understand the difference between invasive and non-native species either. This whole argument is poorly reasoned.
Maybe we should reconsider invasive plant species....
