I live not far from Subiaco Market Square park and was thinking about doing a similar post as this, as we have the same sort of grubs who want to get the pleasure from using the facilities in a pretty setting, but then leaving their mess for someone else to clean up. It is disgraceful.

As a kid, my dad always had the saying “don’t destroy what you came to enjoy” and I use it with my kids when we see rubbish left out.
It blows me away with how many people leave rubbish at the beach, throw plastic bait bags in the ocean or leave shit like this at a park. You are literally ruining the thing you came to enjoy or you have the attitude that someone else can clean it up.

I went to a baseball game in Japan. At the end of the game there were people holding big garbage bags at the bottom of each set of aisles, and literally everybody took their rubbish with them and placed it in the bags on their way past. There was no rubbish left behind at all and it was such a simple thing to do.
Japan is very homogenous - so its very safe to assume the next person is thinking the same as you.
