Quite unlucky, considering the OCZ 30-50gb (I forget the size, but it was tiny and expen$ive). also went, to be honest OCZ had an incredibly bad rep around that period, I remember all the articles, perhaps you were the lucky one? haha.
Anyways it was replaced by a glorious Corsair 1050w, which is still going strong to this day in a spare build. Funnily enough, a Corsair HX620 (from 2006!?) was still going strong up until 3months ago in another household PC.

Yep. I had a OCZ 1000w PSU and SSD ..both were expensive, the SSD was new technology at the time.....this was maybe 15yrs ago? both items failed on me and returned and swapped for another product all together. There is a reason why they don't exist now (?)

I have the issue....mostly when 1st game played, well over 300fps, but has a drop for a millisecond to 60-100fps, with little going on. PC runs and does everything else exceptionally. This game is just so poorly optimised for PC it seems. After a few rounds, doesn't seem noticeable though.

I've read only of the supposed rocker arm issues, but sounds exaggerated or due to poor oil maintenance (15-20,000km changes and too thin of an oil). Given yours is 2018, and you've no issue, touch wood, that's good to hear.

Seems using water as oil, long winded oil changes and pure coincidence that one particular YouTube channel, that also happens to be a repair business, which is then shared on social media with the proclamation of "it happens to all", is the biggest issue (scare mongering).
