"Well no, you'll go on longer than me."

The first time I really recall thinking about death was when I was about 8 or so.
I had found a letter from my grandfather in my dad's desk.
The letter was written to my dad while Grandpa was in the hospital dying from lung failure. I didn't understand it right away until my dad read the letter and started crying.
Anyways, my boy and I were watching Lego Batman and he just sprung the question on me. Never really thought about how to handle it.
