What the hell?
Problemtighten the belts that move the axis
Ok How do i set the correct tension on them? Ive looked but haven't gotten a straight answer!
What printer do you have?
It is an any cubic kobra max
there are red screws, twist so that the belt is taut, but not too tight
I wish they would give us a spec on it
Do - Full tight, then back off one complete turn. Should be very close. If belt is still too loose, may need new belt.
I keep em tight like a guitar string lol
Any cubic seems like they have serious belt slipping problem
A loose belt can slip on any machine using these.
It's a trivial task to tighten them.
Tighten 1/2 turn and try again.
But, I have found that mine (when it was new) was layer shifting Y when printing the 22min benchy. Belt was not the issue for me. I set the current from the 800 to 1100 and the 22min benchy came out as good as it was going to get.
"Set the current from 800 to 1100" Ok Im not sure what are referring to with that statement.
The stepper driver current. Mine was set for 800mA.
I set it to 1100mA. Max is 1200mA.
For the Y axis. My Kmax needed it to sling that big bed that fast without skipping steps.
