Besides the typical granola bars and instant oatmeal packets, I’m wondering if anyone has suggestions for some dried/instant foods I can bring with me and heat up with a kettle in a hotel room. Preferably containing no meat or dairy. I’m traveling to a pretty expensive place and will get creative but am also grateful for any ideas and suggestions. Thanks in advance!

Make tacos! I cook rice and beans with taco seasoning, enough to last me a few days’ lunch (I try to eat primarily plant based so i only use the beans for the protein but you can add any protein you like). I put chia and flax seeds on it too. I usually pack that with a tortilla and some greens, tomatoes and jalapeños and make myself a soft taco at work. It’s very filling and you can do lots of variations to switch things up!
