Not sure if this is a spoiler so I’m going to cover it, but but where was this written? Was it in an interview with SJM, or is it something we all picked up from each other and ran with? Or did I miss something in ACOTAR? I’ve only read the series once so far so I might have missed it.
My favorite letter of the alphabet—really rolls off (and on) the tongue
I agree with everything but specifically on the last point, it’s one of the reasons I made this post. I think she would accidentally write in a really fucked-up moment and not even notice it, like what EL James did to BDSM in Fifty Shades. Also, lol at “blindfolds and light restriction with shadows” 😂
Thanks, I’m in therapy and I’ve pretty much worked through it now. Still pisses me off to no end though.
Okay true! I took that as a random handkerchief he had in his pocket but I like your thinking 😏
I fought back until I realized it was making it worse, not better. I looked in his eyes and saw myself with a missing tooth or a broken nose. He liked it.
Does the way Steve pronounces “Oregon” bother anyone else??
She does it at least once a week and doesn’t understand why I stress about her being late lol
I think we need to consider the fact that Christian doesn’t have a mentally ill family member. He doesn’t know what it’s like, so from his perspective (which, to be specific, comes from a place of disrespect towards Dani’s opinion, but I digress) Dani is the one enabling this behavior. He doesn’t know that she isn’t overreacting; she’s responding accordingly to what she knows could very well be a crisis situation. He sees Terri as a dramatic, manipulative person instead of the struggling young woman Dani knows her to be, so obviously this is just a plea for attention.
“Hey Grandma, are you ready to go to your doctor’s appointment?”
“Yep.”
“Okay cool, let me throw my shoes on real quick. Okay, ready?”
“Yep, let me just brush my teeth.”
I think that’s why they exchanged glances: of all the people they would want to have their hands on the virus, Butcher is the last.
No no, it’s the same convicted rapist Allen Turner who still lives in Bellbrook, Ohio! I vote for him to be under the ground :)
Wtf are you on about? If you’re somehow imagining this is a sexual scenario, that’s 100% on you, pal.
Straight bussin
Or if you really want to make it go away for good, “That’s busting!”
Gooch. That’s horn-corn for “clown name”.
I doubt it, frankly. One of the main themes of the show is that absolute power corrupts absolutely; once someone gets enough of it, the rules stop applying to them and they get a rush from that. No one character is 100% ethical because humans, even super ones, are flawed.
Also, Zoe had picked up on the fact that someone was trying to assassinate her mother, and possibly herself. It makes sense for her to react violently, especially as someone who probably hasn’t caused significant harm with her powers yet. (spoilers for Gen V: ) She’s still a child, so her sense of morality is still developing. She sees someone attack first, she strikes back, no questions asked.
When my great-aunt was dying in 2020, I worked at a pet store. She was bedridden, and I was there once when they were changing her adult diaper. I was shocked when they rolled her over to reveal an honest-to-god puppy pad underneath her, then a little surprised at myself for being shocked. It makes complete sense, they’re literally designed to be peed on!
Also, frozen fruits and vegetables are more nutritious than fresh or refrigerated! The vitamins and minerals have had less time to degrade in the frozen stuff because they freeze it right away after it’s harvested. You can easily make the purées yourself with frozen foods!
Who would say that for hours on end? /joking
Damn, I thought it was a discipline thing. I’m gonna bring this up to my doctor, thank you!
My sister: “Do you need to use the bathroom?”
My four-year-old nephew, visibly pressing his hand against his butt: “No!”
The US: “Did you have sex with that sex worker?”
Trump, actively handing her a hush money check that earns him 34 convictions: “No!”
I hate “he left the room, mumbling something about being late for an appointment.” Wait, so was he mumbling “something” or was he mumbling, “I’m late for an appointment”? Because it seems like you heard exactly what he said…
