I have transmitters at 35 miles N, 55 miles SW, and 70 miles SE. I'd like to see if I can pull in all 3 locations. I was able to pull coax from my attic to my basement where I plan to setup a HDHomerun Flex 4K for distribution to all the TV's in the house via my wifi network. It's about a 25 foot coax run. I have a few questions as I'm shopping for antennas:
Are 5G/LTE filters necessary?
Do omnidirectional (like the Antop AT-415b) actually work?
Should it be powered? I'm not splitting the signal.
Should I look at something that has separate elements I can aim them at the different transmitters like the Antennas Direct DB8-e 8-Element Bowtie?
I'd like to be 4k ready, ATSC 3.0, etc.
I'd love to get some antenna recommendations and hear what you all have to say. Thanks!
If there's 2 things I could remove from the BBQ lexicon it would be 3-2-1 ribs and beer can chicken.
I am NEVER wrapping ribs again…..my god
