Made my first batch of Toulouse and a Hungarian inspired smoked paprika and cheese links. I used a kitchen aid following 2guys advice and it was much easier than I thought. Lots of steps but kept the meet I. The freezer in small batches and it went really well. Thanks to this sub for all the top tips.
Awesome work, tasty looking links! Where'd you get your recipes from?
For the Toulouse I followed honest food recipeand freestyled the spicy ones.
They are quite salty for my taste, so will cut that down next time.
The smoked paprika sausages were 800g pork shoulder, 5 rasher bacon, 1 tablespoons smoked Paprika. 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper garlic and white wine. I also added cheddar cheese. Which I diced into 5mm cubes dusted with flour and put In the freezer. Worked really well.
Cost me about £6 for the ingredients and that many links would cost me around £15 from the butcher so it’s way cheaper.
Love that solution for the cheese cubes, I'm gonna give that a try
What is the "2guys advice" with the kitchenaid?
All store bought meat?
Yeah, not got the space to rear my own pigs unfortunately.
Nothing wrong with that my man! Sausages look awesome!
I'm guess hot Italian and garlic
They look great! Good job
