I've really really thought about it. For every successful video post on this subreddit, there are at least 100 that get negative karma and get reported. But can we really justify banning all videos? I've never been able to take the last step on the off chance that we finally get some agreeable videos. I've brought it up with other moderators, but we didn't reach consensus/majority in favor a while back.

Are these all your photos? Why are there a couple watermarks? One shows up elsewhere on the internet at a minimum.

We messaged you back within a day or so (two messages actually)

This is what you should have gotten back from us

If you get a group of people to work with and create something like what you are proposing, we would certainly consider putting a link to it in the resources sidebar. Pinning a post like yours isn't something we ever do though, so don't take it personal. I do think it's an idea with some merit, but I also know from experience that these kinds of things are always a lot more complicated than you think they're going to be. Let us know once it's beyond the idea phase, and please, keep using the board for organizing the project, because it would be great to have an aspiring-worker-cooperator match-making service on the web somewhere. Best of luck.

Was this also a camping trip? Could you give some basic trip details/trip report please?

Don't most of the official cairns in Norway have the red "T" painted on them? Obviously only when they're on official trails.

We don't require specific locations, however. As in you could keep it so vague that most people won't know. We understand the reason people want to keep their camp area a secret or less known. The same goes for /r/hiking

We primarily ask for a trip report in posts so this subreddit doesn't turn into a low-effort subreddit for showing off with no discussion. It also really helps to distinguish between legitimate redditors and reposters or drive-by posters
