You must have polarized glasses that are deflecting the light.
Everyone else has no issues with glasses (or even masks).
There's literally an "Add Glasses" section in Face ID & Passcode, as well as "Set Up an Alternate Appearance". Maybe you should try those.
You can turn it off in accessibility.
Better option however, is to turn it off, then back on again, this resets the saved settings.
Then you can again manually adjust your brightness to what you feel is comfortable while in certain light levels and it will remember that.
People mess it up and then it remembers the messed up settings and then get angry at it. It's more advisable to do the reset and leave it on since it will save battery and be a better experience.
Exactly. Why reinvent the wheel and make what is obviously a mess and lesser experience? iPadOS just needs to be improved.
They had a “back to the Mac” keynote many moons ago where they added iOS features to macOS. We need a “back to the iPad” now.
I mean. Yeah.
iPad and Mac are using the same SoC. I for one do no believe iPads should have macOS on them, as the experience with touch would be a mess without redesigning the OS (Windows 8/8.1/10/11 and even earlier anyone?)
However iPadOS is already touch optimized, but the problem is it’s locked down like iOS. It needs to have more macOS utility added.
Underneath the OSs are basically the same. And I’m pretty sure shells like bash and zsh are in there. There’s just no way to use them.
Since iPads for every day people serve well. I’d say there’s an argument for having an iPadOS Pro or something, just for iPad Pros and the folks who want things like terminal shells, full file access, virtualization, etc. idk. Either way iPadOS needs to be a bit more “Pro”.
Your GPS isn’t 100% accurate and your iPhone location will drift around.
You have a neighbor that has an AirTag somewhere and they’re not in range, but as far as your iPhone is concerned you are moving all over the place and an AirTag is “following” you.
It’s just location inaccuracy.
Unless it’s literally following a route you took that’s all it is.
