I’ve always sworn by the default Apple Maps over Google Maps, Google has steered me wrong far too many times whereas Apple has always been reliable…at least until now.

I’ve never had much experience with tolls, we don’t have them where I live (Calgary, Canada). I’m currently travelling in Sydney Australia and they have quite a few toll roads here, and they aren’t cheap. So naturally, I turn on “avoid tolls” when navigating. It works fine, UNTIL I make a wrong turn, or go through a tunnel and the map gets confused about where I am for a few seconds. Once it recalculates, it seems to forget all about that “avoid tolls” option, which has led to me ending the trip and restarting it while driving so it’ll avoid tolls again. Obviously not ideal.

I can’t find anything in settings to fix this, is this just a bug with Apple Maps?
