I'm the market for these laptops. Rn they are on sale for the same price although G16 is $400 more regular price. I'm between the G14 4060 vs the G16 4070. I like the 14" for better portability but I'm getting a better series for the same price on the G16. I also am aware that the bigger chassis on the G16 will help with thermals/airflow. Wtm??
I also just got my 2024 g14 today and have a case, id suggest the Smatree Protective Hard Shell Case its really rigid and provides good drop protection. It also pretty good quality for the price. My previous device was a MacBook and I had a pretty rigid, hard shell typa case, id always preferred that over a simple sleeve (its just better overall protection and keeping the laptop clean and slim shouldn't matter as much as people make it to).
Alright, id figured the 4060 vs 4070 difference isn't anything like a dealbreaker. Im not an intensive gamer and gamings not my primary purpose. G14 4060 should do the job
Thanks for the advice. measuring out the 16" screen looks a bit big for my liking, so ill probably go with the G14
OP understood what I meant, thanks bossman
So basically, the laptop assumes you are going to do intensive task (like gaming) when u plug it in by default?
Initially, I thought the g14 only came in white, and the g16 in the dark. However this was just what was offered at a certain retailer (Best Buy). The Asus website has both color ways for both models, but that might be only the US website. Maybe they have different options overseas. Good luck mate
The set up looks sick . Which graphics card do you have for your build? How would u rate the fan noise during basic, light use (browsing, YouTube, twitch, music, etc,)
sounds pretty reasonable, have u tweaking any curves/fan setting in armoury to get it inaudible?
GPU shouldnt be the deciding factor when considering video editing, that is mostly a CPU task. 4060 should very much help the graphics side of things when 4k video editing, easing the load on the iGPU, better battery, better performance, etc.
Id say Intel has the overall better chip, especially the new intel ULTRA chips that are so much better for power efficiency and allocation, however, the differences are very minimal. its a lil harder to find AMD chips on laptop, as they are more gearing to gaming and desktop related stuff
the only thing I would be aware of is that new ARM chips only have internal GPU, so video editing/performance may not be as pristine as you would get from a dGPU. ALthought, if you are not going too heavy on graphics intensive things, the new Snapdragon chips are definitely worth a shot
how is the fan noise for light-use for your g14?
how is the fan noise for light use for your g14?
I understand that the vapor chamber provides greater cooling than the third fan for the 4060/4070 models. how would u say the fan noise/thermal will be for the 4060/4070 models on basic use(web browsing, occasional, youtube, twitch, music)? is the third fan really that much of an issue ?
Speakers on these lineups are said to be top-tier - MacBook level quality and loudness, I dont think speakers will be an issue for you. Your usage seems pretty good, the only think that I've been hearing is the fan noise/thermals might cause some problems. For gaming, expect to the fan to be on and loud, and 80-90 thermal for good performance- but this is expected, this is what your gonna get on a GAMING laptops. The only other issue could be fan noise when doing light tasks such as the basic ones you mentioned - I've read many mixed reviews on fan noise during light basic tasks even idling.
I got the same thing, I spammed them 3 times after this but no luck. I have just now repeated OP strategy with a different email and number, ill see if this works
I get the codes to but, I got my personas name after replying to the automated message with the codes

you dont mention it in where they prompt you to, u put it in the "description" box
google search " snapchat submit a request" that where u do the OP method
