I recently got $1600 of store credit at best buy for a laptop replacement
Out of pocket including tax I think I'd have to pay around $450 for the g14 $0 for the g16 (16 gb 4070) $950 for the g16 (32 gb 4080) Which should I get?
Which is worth it, g14, g16 (16 gb 4070), or g16 (32gb 4080)

I have the G16/4090, I get about 6-9 hours depending on what I'm working on. Obviously not gaming. I just updated Windows/AC/MyAsus, set profiles to silent/eco/60hz, turned down brightness like 1 notch which is nothing, also have a 2nd SSD installed. It's running so well with good thermals that I never bothered to install G-Helper. I do use a laptop cooler when gaming but don't need to, more a precaution for longevity. I also wouldn't advise a full reinstall of windows unless you know how to save power and panel profiles, drivers etc as many get odd results after doing that. Just do a Cloud Restore via bios and debloat after if you ever need to do that. There are a lot of reasons folks get inconsistent results, but this is what I did for a stable setup. Good luck sir

I understand that the vapor chamber provides greater cooling than the third fan for the 4060/4070 models. how would u say the fan noise/thermal will be for the 4060/4070 models on basic use(web browsing, occasional, youtube, twitch, music)? is the third fan really that much of an issue ?
